Also I forgot to mention one thing that boosted this chapter for me was the clear progression in Toyotaro's art style. It now feels like there's a real flow between panels and action setpieces that isn't so flat and hastily cobbled together. Really nice to see.

I enjoyed it but I'm conflicted on a few things. This chapter was certainly "classic DBZ" what with Goku coming to save the day. Although it's a hackneyed trope, there's still something very cathartic about seeing our boy Sun Wukong doing what he does best with a smile on his face. I think...

I think the central misunderstanding is sociopathy = evil when that's not always necessarily the case. If we take the benefit of the doubt and accept this guide as true, Zamasu was a blank slate upon birth like most beings and most Kais. Late to chip in but I've written an entire essay detailing that Zamasu was basically always a narcissistic sociopath, a ticking time bomb.
