Re: Could Goku actually wipe out humanity?
If we change the future events with Goku joining an evil martial artist, such as Tsfuru Sennin, then I could see him getting stronger bit by bit and events transpiring similar to those in the manga. I would definately see Goku wanting to fight Tao Pai Pai, Blue or Piccolo Daimao just because of his...

Could Goku actually wipe out humanity?
Let's pretend for a second that we are at some point before 2013 and the statements of Raditz and Vegeta about Goku being sent to Earth to conquer it is true, let's pretend that without his memory loss Goku would have consciously gone through with it from his position as Son Gohan's adoptive grandso...

Re: Was it ever explained away why no one in trunks time in the afterlife help out at all?
Kaio just cant/doesn't want to intervene. There's explanations. He did intervene to get New Namek's location in the Cell Arc we had, so he can do it, Cell was still just a threat to the Earth at that time, in fact Kaioh doesn't even question the threat level he obliges Goku's request to get the new...

Re: Was it ever explained away why no one in trunks time in the afterlife help out at all?
It's even worst than that. Forget about fighting the Androids on a day 1 pass, via King Kai's telepathy, information on where New Namek was could have been sent out to Bulma, but radio silence. Kaio just cant/doesn't want to intervene. There's explanations. He did intervene to get New Namek's locat...

Re: What Can A Tournament Of Power Part II Offer?
Narratively: Nothing, the first ToP was already a slog and a waste of time, a second one, after the whole secret motive surrounding Zeno and the Grand Priest is already revealed, would be rendered 100% tensionless, because we would know no universes are in real danger, the entire point of the ToP w...

Re: Now that Piccolo is a real contender again, why do you think he chose to skip on the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai?
It fully depends on if we will ever see the events surrounding the 28 Budokai again in a new context or if Super will definetly end before it: If Super goes beyond the DB ending, then Piccolo could have been saving his real powers for a suprise later, and at that point Goku and Vegeta were not aware...

Re: Which villain does Goku hate the most?
Baby, Piccolo or Zamasu from the more obvious choices. He had no mercy against either of them. But i will go with less obvious choice - Naturon Shenron. Goku was actually willing to let most of dragons live if they handed dragon ball to him. He even was ready to spare Eis after what he had done. Bu...

Re: Are you sick of Goku?
I'm not sick of Goku, i'm sick of how his character is potrayed in Super media, same with Vegeta, and thus having them both lead the show 24/7 gets tiresome, thankfully Super Hero tries to space this out, but it still blunders by staining Goku's character even more (with the silly meditation thing),...

If that’s not the most depressing thing about existence I don’t know what is. Not sure why being reminded of the most crude r...

Re: I just watched the ending of GT (Japanese version) and it was one of the most depressing things I’ve ever seen
I love that it has that feeling that we 've been transported to a time where everything was over, where the characters that we knew now rest in peace and their distant descendants carry on, it displays one of my favorite things about Dragon Ball, which i think is sorely missing in modern interpretat...

Re: Unpopular DB opinions
I don’t know how unpopular this is, but I think the “Saiyans mature slower” explanation that Super Hero gave was stupid and unnecessary. Aside from the fact that it’s obviously just something they came up with to handwave why Goten and Trunks still looked like tiny children during DBS, it’s not eve...

Re: Where did the "GT takes place 10 years later" myth start?
i think that, at the time, Bra's birth year was not specified, so the people making GT guessed her approximate age from how she looked in the ending of Dragon Ball Daizenshuu 7, which says Bra was born in AGE 779, was released in February 1996 . Perfect Files, which says Bra was born in AGE 780, wa...

Re: Where did the "GT takes place 10 years later" myth start?
Pan is noticeably taller than Goku who I assume was wished back to his 11 year old body, with her being probably as tall as Goku was at 15. Saiyans apparently age slowly and get a huge growth spurt nearing adulthood so I can see people assuming the same with Pan and Bra. https://i.imgur.com/MFzefoY...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Goku wasn't allowed to come back because the Androids were only a threat to Earth and they were a slow threat. Vegeta was allowed back for example because Buu was destroying the Earth in days and was a threat to the universe on top of that. They can ask Baba to take them back for any reason, it is ...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Then he should have lost his body too, no more tantrum Yeah Goku cites saving the world from Cell as the reason he didn't get a body. The only contradiction to this is Goku appearing one one panel in a bonus chapter by toyo, but even then I'd still argue this is just to show it's Goku speaking rath...

i'd say that, overall, they fit the Chaotic Good category, so fairly heroic.

Re: Characters Being Called Out Much More Often.
I completely and utterly agree with you about Son Goku needing to be called out for giving a Senzu Bean to Piccolo Junior, Perfect Cell, and Planet-Eater Moro (Seven-Three Absorbed), FoolsGil. But I really think that Vegeta and Son Gohan should have been called out as well. Why was it wrong to give...

Re: Characters Being Called Out Much More Often.
Right after Moro was finally defeated, Krillin should have drop kicked Goku in the face. No you call him out the first time for giving an enemy a senzu. Second time he does it, make sure he's so drained of energy that he can't even summon basic super saiyan: then kick his ass. I completely and utte...
