Wow, crazy to think how different the landscape of the franchise was 10 years ago. I always kind of got a kick out of this special. It gave me some of the same good feelings as the mid-series movies. The promotional anime from the last couple of years gives me the same vibe now.

I've never been much for statues myself, though it is a fairly good deal at half off. I'd recommend the Figuarts release from Ban Dai over that any day.

You can occasionally find them used in places like Sam Goody or F.Y.E. There was a copy of the Namek boxed set (dub only) and the Garlic Jr. set at my local Sam Goody up until it closed about a month ago.
