Re: Why has Dragonball animation production stopped complete
I doubt it.Xyex wrote:They took the cheaper way of making lots of fast cash. They released the Dragonboxes. They'll probably come up with a new movie for the 25th aniversary.

Silence can never be overrated. If you were to do even the entire Dragon Ball Z series in total silence, it would work. It would certainly be a lot more tense. Where you can't find your enemy and you can't hear him either, that's pretty scary. Not to have rock music blazing in the background really ...

Well, yes. Acctually, more of a religion thing now that I think about it. People being put down because of their beliefs. No matter how you may look at it, it's not right. I'm sorry to say this, but as much as I love DB, there are bigger things in life. It's a form of entertainment, not a necessity...

When you guys record, what type of mic do you use? Is it a headset? If that's the case, try to place the mic right above your nose. This way you'll take away the occasional breathing that takes place, and also takes away the nasal sound. So far, it sounds like everybody has a cold. If you guys have ...

You know what Faulconer's score consists of? Electric bass, electric guitar and some drums. Maybe some synth here and there. Write 2 or 4 measures and repeat multiple times. What kind of score is that? Is that even a score? Is that even music? While at times the original score can be a little bit me...

I thought that this was a place where we could discuss Dragon Ball. Even though there have been changes, it's still the same show with the same basic ideas. Whether you love the show in English, Japanese, Spanish, Cantonese, German, Klingon, Ewok or Gregorian chant, it's still the same in the end, ...

Now with the technology of DVD's everyone can be happy so I don't see the point of fighting anymore. If you *really* want to get into an interesting discussion, let's get into the whole fact that now-a-days it's the *dub fans* that are so bitchy and hostile towards fans of the original Japan...

Alright guys, I'm all for speculations and what if scenarios, but this thread is turning into some hardocre elitism here... That just sounds to be the initial purpose of this thread. I think it's just as immature to start badmouthing what other people have on other sites. I don't come to this forum...

Guys, I'm not trying to discuss the quality of the music and the choice of the musicians. I'm trying to discuss the CHOICE for the music being the way it was for its English release. Something else to consider is that Dragon Ball also had its music replaced during its original 13-episode adaptation....

The Buu sagas were where the music really started to come together, or at least that's what it sounded like to me. More of the score is memorable here than from anywhere else in the Faulconer era; a lot of it was driven by the momentum of the scene or the character's attitude, and the variety is mu...

Gok û = Gok uu (But it's also Gok ou O.o; ) Actually it's not Gok ou , it's Gokuu, just like you wrote. The hiragana for the kanji 空, is clearly くう which is pronounced kuu . I know the spelling ' Gok ou ' was mostly used by Bandai and other Japanese companies when they're trying to spell Goku in En...
