Just finished watching it. It's fairly simple for the most part covering all the US released games starting with GT Final Bout and going all the way up to Shin Budokai 2, but nothing more then a sentence or two is said about any of the games. It basicly just tells what all DB related games have come...

(A little bit like Jedi in Star Wars Galaxies, even though they technically aren't a species, but there's many many MANY more of them around than established continuity would have you believe) Yeah I know, and I have a feeling the exact samething will happen, ie there will be very few people who ca...

How do you feel about going back and using 2-D graphics? Street Fighter/King of Fighter/Guilty Gear-style but better. It be a waste of money. I know that sounds harsh but if I'm being a realist about it then that's basicly the situation. See the problem is that no days in order to recoup costs for ...

A correction, there are only two playable races (so far), Namekian and Human. Humans begin on Earth, recruited by Time Patrol Trunks. Namekians begin on New Namek, and are sent to assist those on Earth by Saichooroo/Guru. The mysterious organization apparantly has transformed the animals of the wor...

I always thought a next-gen game would look like the Sparking intro. That was just plain cool, and if they can do something like that on PS3,360, then I'm in. The Sparking intros looked pretty horrendus to me. I mean the characters were all very elongated and they didn't follow any paticular DBZ ar...

Shin Budokai + Shin Budokai 2 (Review)
Not sure if this warrants it's own thread, but here we go. Note that this is going to be doing a combo review of both games, as SB2 is really just an upgrade of SB1, or because there's not much difference between either. Gonna put it all in quotes too, to make it a bit easier on the eyes and to sect...

Didn't want to double post but here's the SB2 Move List (excluding combos) MOVE LIST (Gonna put it in a quote to make it easier to read) Key = NAME - Death Move 1 - Death Move 2 - Ultimate (Continued Ultimate) - Aura Burst Charge - Pursuit Finisher (+) = Move can be continued with another attack/hit...

That was pretty cool. They should have allowed us to assign moves to any character in the Budokai games. Yeah I've sortta thought the same thing for awhile now. Like first off get rid of all the Defense Up, Strength Up, etc, stat boosting crap, and let the gameplay be more dependent on the characte...

My question for you is:Does Gohan have Special beam canon (i think it's called Makankosappo in Japanese) Yeah the Future Gohan has it as his Ultimate in his base form. Future Gohan's move list consists of... Base - Masenko (Death Move) - Burning Attack (Death Move) - Special Beam Cannon (Ultimate) ...

Although there are some cheesy parts to it, that's a pretty cool story. I can just imagine it... KAIOU: TRUNKS! You have created a Time Paradox! Note that I just listed the main plot points, there's a lot of other dumb elements to it. To me it's strong points or things that were nice to see were......

Thanks for the pic, that's very cool to see. I think it looks awesome with orange pants. Personaly I don't. I myself am really big into character designs and have to say that if they're going to change a character's physical form that much in terms of SS4 or whatever, there's really no need to keep ...

I still think that Saiyans gain Kami-esque magic capabilities in SSj4, and use it to give themselves nifty new outfits when they transform Yes, though if they were ever to back and redo it or do a DB Redux, I'd suggest giving all SS4 chars the same pants (though maybe the colors could be different ...

I thought they might have Goku's pants stay orange, since on the cover of a special box for the Budokai games to go in he has orange pants. Link me a picture, I've never seen it. But from a design standpoint whoever did the final SS4 designs made it so that their clothes change when they themselves...

Do Goku's pants change colors or do they stay orange when he transforms into a SSJ4? No, Goku's SS4 look had never been dependent on what he's wearing. For instance in GT a lot of people make the mistake of thinking that SS4 Goku is wearing what kid Goku is wearing, but if you notice, kid Goku's ar...

Nice, TAS. Thanks for the review. I'm still getting it in spite of its flaws, since it's still better than the first, and is the closest I'll ever get to owning Budokai 3. I'd defenitly suggest it for anyone who hasn't owned the first one, but it's a little hard to tell someone they should spend $4...

I got the game the day it came out and will tell you guys about it and what all it includes for those who are curious. Contains MASSIVE SPOILERS I'm gonna put it in a quote to make it look better. CHARACTERS (Forms) Goku (Base, Kaioken, SSJ, SSJ2, SSJ3, SSJ4) Vegeta (Base, SSJ, SSJ2, Majin) Teen Goh...

I'd like everyone to know that your missing the point. The game does NOT revolve around Trunks as far as we know. So far we can only speculate. The Trunks side-story may be a branching path. That is all. According to Atari the MAIN storyline revolves around Trunks in the alternate future fighting a...

Actually I would love the idea of playing with/fighting against a character with a phantom limb. Ita remind me of the Venture Brothers Yeah but the thing is that's cool for a character intentionaly designed like that, ie you'd rather play as a character with a phantom limb rather then Gohan with on...

EDIT: Also, LOVE seeing Future Gohan! And concerning his other arm (as TAS pointed out) an 'alternate' costume wouldn't work. You have collision boxes set up for his left arm. With it just randomly disappearing, but keeping the same character, that invisible arm would still hit the person. They'd h...
