Re: Old artstyle vs New Artstyle 2.0
That and the backgrounds from Yo-Son Goku 2008 is something I beg to come back with this or Shintani's artstyle.
https://s1-ssl.dmcdn.net/oABnT/x720-3A0.jpg
I agree. One thing I loathe about Super (and modern stuff like TFC's intros) is the use of CG textures for backgrounds an...

Re: Old artstyle vs New Artstyle 2.0
I personally really like Naohiro Shintani's art/style on this project. It reminds me more of traditional animation we last saw in the GT (Path To Power, etc) era. It also feels a bit more like someone else's take on Toriyama's style rather than trying to do a straight copy, which I like. I haven't e...

Hey what is Tenshinhan like in this game? Does he play good, have decent techniques and stuff? He's one of the better characters in the game from what I've heard. I'm not sure as I haven't played with him a lot. One of the best things about Burst Limit is that each character is more individual then...

Not necessarily. Some of us just have weird tastes. For example, my favorite DBZ game in the history of ever is DBZ Legends for PS1. I'm one of the five Dragonball fans in the universe that wants to see another Super DBZ. Also very highly ranked on my list is UB22 and Supersonic Warriors. Nobody ev...

I actually agreed with what you had to say, I was just bugged by the way you said it. I would have stepped in to correct him, but I would have just been reiterating points you had already made, albeit in a slightly more polite manner The short of it was that he wasn't being polite (in his first pos...

Yeah I know what cel-shading is. When I say all the games, if you look at it, about 90% of them are cel-shaded. Not even close. Of the 20 or so DBZ games 8 of them are cel-shaded, so explain to me how that's 90% please. Don't you get tired of being wrong? Sure sounded like it. No it didn't as I rea...

I honestly think the only one great DBZ Dimps ever made was the first Budokai. It had the best cut scenes in tact, I used to play it so much just to watch the cut scenes because that was the best part. Yeah and Dimps stated that the reason that the gameplay in Budokai 1, that would be B1 abbriviate...

Looks so hilariously fake... Even I could do better than that! So? It's not like Toriyama is all that amazing of an artist when it comes to his sketch work or black and white stuff, not to mention those sketches look very similar to convention skethes that artists do at comic cons, ie quick doodles...

New (or younger) fans are always going to be less knowledgeable about certain aspects of the series (which in itself is no crime) and more prone to buying into, and spreading misinformation. It's what these people choose to do once they're given the correct information. If you're really a fan of so...

SB2 is the overall better game. It's got more to it in every way. It's a better version of the first game in all aspects except the Story Mode. The first game had a better Story Mode, but that aspect of it is like the Budokai compared to Budokai 2, ie B1 had a good story mode while B2's was horrible...

I agreed with a lot of things brought up in the topic, but my biggest issue with the fandom is... Ignorance I mean oh my god it's so insane the amount of ignorance and/or stupidity around the fandom or (certain) fans have. It's hard believing some of the things you read on certain sites (like GameFA...

No shit, but it's lame when that's all they do. While the blocking can get annoying at times it nothing compared to the way the AI abused the Aura Guard in Shin Budokai 2. For those who didn't play SB2, imagine nothing being able to get through the Aura Guard, ie no melee moves, no Death Moves, Ult...

Well, and I'm only asking because this is the Internet you know, do you have any sources to back this up? I was just at Captivate 08 (Capcom's Media Summit) a couple weeks ago talking to Shane Bettenhausen (EGM, 1UP) about it along with a couple other journalists. There's also an episode of 1UP You...

It's been stated that Playstation 3 will have DLC to get Yoda and X-box 360 will have Darth Vader (basically the opposite of whichever one was included as your special character). They're already on the disc. You're not actually downloading them, what you're downloading is an unlock for them. That'...

It looks too busy to me. I thought it was armor at first. If you thought it looked like armor, then that's because it's too flat, not because of the detail. Example same design bottom middle... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v191/TAS_4287/Dragon%20Ball/Goku/GokuSkribs.jpg ...it looks more Gi lik...
