One of the few games I'm looking forward to owning when I jump over to next gen in the near future. From the extended video it looks like they've taken the PSP Shin Budokai system (rather than Budokai 3) as their starting point and souped it up from there. Sad to see the in-game cut scenes for the u...

The Real Works are articulated?

They are very accurate sculpts, Bandai do a good job with their trading figures. I've recently been getting the Hybrid Action series, the articulation does hurt the sculpt a bit but specific poses are managable, close to getting the full set (minus the GT series).

Hahaha, I still have that clear pencil case on the far left of those "walking"-stationery CMs which someone bought for me, everything is still intact I think, can't bare to use it, hehe. I think anime cameos in commercials are great, especially the recent Gundam parodies advertising some t...

I remember that rumour, it was even in a sidebar of a Hong Kong video game magazine I bought way back. They were speculating over and hoping for DBZ Vs Capcom. I'd always wondered how amazing that game would look if it ever came true but Super Dragonball Z didn't disappoint either.

From what I can remember, the DBGT Real Works set came out first in January earlier this year (so about a year ago, more or less). Then followed the Buu series and latest being the Cell series. No word on any more though. One thing to note is that if you like your Weekly Jump titles apart from DB, B...

Only a select few of the figures from the set come with interchangable parts other than the obvious hands:

Piccolo - torso and head (heargear/non-headgear)
Teen Gohan - torso
SS3 Gotenks - head (Normal/SS3)
Gohan - head (Normal/SS)

It's a bootleg artbook from China. Not too difficult to identify, as you pointed out, a lot of the artwork can be found from the recent japanese calendars, even the front cover. And images that aren't seem to be randomly photoshopped and editted. The obi's language is in Chinese and not Japanese. If...

"Kona-chan" or Izumi Konata is one of the main characters in Lucky Star and is the otaku of the group. For those who want a brief description of Lucky Star, it's originally a 4-koma manga spawning out one season of anime from Kadokawa studios, most known for Keroro/Sgt Frog and Suzumiya Ha...

Some of their Movie Collections made no sense. Ma-jin Buu, Gohan absorbed? What the Hell? The original series with Super Saiyajin 3 Goku, Gotenks and Buu (Gohan absorbed) was renamed "Fusion Collection" just for that wave and wasn't done by Jakks at the time, it was from Irwin's IF Labs. ...

I managed to receive my set of the first wave of Hybrid Action just after Christmas, straight from Japan. Apart from some heavy parts of paint wash on some of the figures, the proportions of the body are much more accurate than the Ultimate Figure Series and the facial likenesses are much better as ...
