Re: Members: How old are you?

I'm 26 years old. Btw, speaking of math, just crunched the numbers and the average age appears to be 22, so I guess I'm on the older side. Max is 36, min is 14.

Re: Bardock Special: Director's Cut

I discussed this project a little bit with Kaboom on the podcast episode that will be going up at some point today, but if you've been following along with this thread, that's almost too general to really care about (and I've done more work on it since we recorded that bit). For those that want the...

Re: Dragon Ball Evolution: Seiyu for Japanese Dub

Edit: Mami Koyama is the seiyu for Arale in Dr. Slump (old series) And Lunch. Mami Koyama would probably use a voice closer to own than the one she uses for Arale, since she'd be narrating the story. Probably something like the voice she does for Vermouth (Detective Conan) and Kycilia Zabi (Gundam)...

Personally, I see it as nothing more than illogical, xenophobic, terrified protectionism. It's a free market. Make your material better than the competing material. I also wouldn't buy the excuse of " Wah wah, Hollywood has the money to put behind it to make it better! " Nonsense . If you...

Just a note about CanCon (Canadian Content) in general. The purpose of having CanCon is to reduce the amount of American programming on TV and to promote Canadian content on television. Why is this necessary? This is because without it all of our channels would be inundated with American material. N...

Tenshinhan's machine gun fist (I think that's what it was called in the Budokai games) really reminded me of Luffy's Gatling Gun attack from One Piece. Although, it may have been more evident in the anime than in the manga.

Anyone know how to beat Cell Games level 3? I'm having quite a bit of trouble trying to get through all the battles while losing health in each round.

Just got it today... Still amazed by the freedom of movement one has in this game!

I'm still not very good at it, though.

Oh sorry. The exact question asked to Mr. Kahn was, "Is there a possibility of an uncut release of One Piece?". Of course, what he exactly took "uncut" to mean is another story (dub only or not).

There was an interview on Anime News Network (a couple of weeks back, I think) in where Al Kahn was being interviewed. When asked about the possibility of One Piece DVDs being released, his reply was "Yes, definitely."

I'm sure hoping that they do indeed release them!

That may have been translated directly from the French instruction booklet. I think Muten Roshi's name in the French version was translated as "Tortue Géniale".
