Dragon Ball and One Piece are my top two favorites, and I really love Toriko too! I'm looking forward to this. I don't understand all the Toriko hate, though. It's actually a really cool series. If you like DB and OP, I think you should really give it a chance. The anime makes way too many changes ...

I actually know of one project that compiled a boatload of audio tracks in different languages, including original broadcast audio that they somehow got their hands on. Unfortunately they never got past episode 2, it seems. :\

You have to keep in mind that "mono" and "stereo" aren't indicators of quality. It's just the amount of audio channels there are so you can create a sense of space (although one could argue that having more audio channels makes it easier to mix audio well in the first place.) Mon...

It was a throwaway weekly show in Japan. They didn't bother to keep the raw audio masters for the show, because why on Earth would you ever watch the show again? It's on TV. The TV show isn't the product! The TV show is just a commercial for the rest of the merchandise! That was the basic thinking....

Usually when it comes to whether or not Toriyama said something, I apply the rule of "If you have to ask, probably not."

I was born a day before Z episode 165, where Trunks begins to fight Cell for a million years. More interestingly, I was born a day after the Cell Games began in the manga.

I just consider the movies released during the show's original run to be the "classic" era, and the new ones the "modern" era.

In the future they should really ease off the auto tune. A natural voice would sound better, if they can sing. The only one who sounds autotuned is Sean Schemmel. The rest are pretty much natural. Now, I was thinking, it wouldn't be terribly hard to put a bunch of scrolling text over the Dragon Box footage for this... Hell, why not make so...

I'll probably snatch up anything Dragon Box-related (even GT!) but I'd be extra happy with DB or an opportunity to buy the first couple Z sets without paying out the ass.

I've used it once. I won't name any names, but the person in question's posts were usually so inane that they were easily ignorable, and if someone else directly replied to them I thought "Yeah, that sounds about right."
