Re: Dragon Box FUNimation Survey
I went to the Funimation panel this weekend at Katsucon. I asked, "Regarding the Dragonbox survey, how successful was the survey? And can we expect anything in the future?" Of course I got nothing out of them. All they said was, "Stay tuned" and ""We're still counting ...

Re: DBZ Voice Competition/Battles
Funny, I started that 'Oh Shit' thing on an account of mine that got deleted. Some dude after me copied it and instead of using the German voice, he tried to replicate Clark's voice. So, Undertaker, lol how come in the German version he says that? Or does it just sound like "oh shit!"? No...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Kai Part 7
We'll see. I'm still curious to see what the box art will be for Part 8. Like I said before, probably Cell and Gohan? I'm hoping it'll either be like this: Option A http://i44.tinypic.com/jagbqu.png Option B http://i41.tinypic.com/21de5id.png To wrap it up, it'd be really nice and familiar to use s...

Re: DBZ Voice Competition/Battles
Personally for this scene I like Sabat's regular Z version the best. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzLXb1LMdxo It also helps that it has Funi Trunks. I really really don't like the Ocean Trunks (don't like their 16 either but he doesn't say anything in that clip). I also always laugh watching the ...

I'd say that last idea would be the best one, the Kamehameha. Would look sweet!Travis Touchdown wrote:I'm guessing it to be Super Saiyan 2 Gohan in a cool pose. MAYBE SSJ2 Gohan fighting Cell, or Gohan charging his one-arm-Kamehameha.

Re: Dragon Ball Z Kai Part 7
I was just about to post that exact message. As a little experiment, I emailed every department that FUNimation's website offers an email to asking what the final word was and I received that exact email, word for word, this morning. Well that's good. Hopefully Part 8 won't be another 6 month wait....

Re: DBZ Voice Competition/Battles
Yeah Jericho is awesome, I've met him twice, really cool guy to talk to. Scott McNeil's Piccolo in comparison to his death scene during the Nappa fight is just one example of how superior he is to Sabat's, although I like Sabat's version also, just nowhere near as much! Scott just seemed to be into...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Kai Part 7
I feel bad for the ones who have been collecting the Part sets so they can have another version. The ones who want to complete not only the seasons sets of Kai but the Part sets also, since they already invested in the previous DVD/Blu-rays. Me, I only have Part One on Blu-ray and Parts 3 & 4 (W...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Kai Part 7
I know how discontinuing works... That's why I posted that amazon had only a couple left. I was pointing out that although they have a couple left in stock, they are indeed still discontinued. Whether you guys are willing to admit it or not, ALL SINGLE VOLUMES of Kai are done . 1-6 have been discon...

Re: DBZ Art on Magic:The Gathering
Toriyama did not draw that, ok? That is a fan art. damn man, haha. I feel extremely sad for you that you missed the point of my post entirely. Yeah, I think that the Frieza card is sweet! I don't see how it's "bad" at all. If it's not someone's style that's understandable, but to call it ...

Hmmm...interesting. I guess that's what I get for not living in Canada lol. I was always hoping there were some DVDs released over there I could get a hold of that are different than the ones released in the States.Attitudefan wrote:Nope. No uncut Ocean released other than the movies.

Re: Dragon Ball Z Kai Part 7
Oh, and by the way...I'm still not convinced with 100 percent certainty that 5-8 are discontinued/cancelled...rightstuf has them in stock for regular price still, if that counts for anything. Not saying I would doubt them being pulled soon but yeah. Amazon has it for pre-order too, and I've pre'd m...

Re: Dragon Ball Z Kai Part 7
So uh, Kai Parts 1-4 are back on Amazon. I thought they were discontinued? They are canceled. 1-8 are canceled. Not just 1-4. Part 1: 2 new from $89 (3rd party) Part 2: 3 new from $42 (amazon) Part 3: 2 new from $120 (3rd party) Part 4: 3 new from $50 (amazon) Out of parts 1-4 on Blu-ray, a total o...

Re: Dragon Ball fanbase get screwed over the most?
Shout does good work, but for the kinda shows people are hoping for, at best people are hoping for a betamax or digibeta exists. And often Shout has to deal with the kind of crap that if DBZ fans had to deal with.... well... DBZ fans complain because stuff is 'to red', or the audio isn't 'great'. Y...

Re: DBZ Voice Competition/Battles
I agree. Drummond IS Vegeta. After all, he's the original "Over 9,000!" haha. Do they have Ocean dub Dragon Boxes over there? Or is that a myth? They're not still releasing DBZ at all over there, or is it through Funimation now? I get confused about that lol

Re: Dragon Ball Z Kai Part 7
Parts 1-4 are already discontinued. Updates from FUNimation to Crunchyroll News imply that all future single-volume (these two-disc "Part" releases) are also discontinued exclusively in favor of the "season" sets -- which means no "Part 7" in March. I emailed FUNimatio...
