Re: Dragon Ball Kai to air in Poland in April
The final episode aired today and the dub wrapped up. Kosmowski made a post on his Facebook page reflecting on the end of the series and thanking some of the people who helped with the production, while noting that he will post more about it int he future. As always, you can view the entire cast an...

Re: The notion that Dragon Ball didn't catch on with the Harmony Gold dub
I think the closest to someone being introduced to Dragon Ball via Harmony Gold, was a member here getting told "Oh Dragon Ball I watched that when I was little" and the member thinking the guy just had Mandela Syndrome but that it was likely the guy saw the Harmony Gold broadcast because ...

Re: Did Fuji TV air the original Dragon Ball anime completely uncensored?
On contrary, is there any anime that was censored on original broadcast? I'm not talking about director's/extended cut on home video, which is separate topic. If you exclude home video, the answer is no, but if you dont it's yes, because some anime are toned down and the original intent posted on H...

English Actors that were cast post...a certain timeframe.
With this I mean around the time Kai was made but not Kai specifically. Post Funimation wanting to emulate an edgy Western cartoon feel and casting actors to match the Japanese version. These would be, but would not be limited, to... -Chris Ayers and any sound a like of his. .Colleen Clinkenbeard -J...

Re: Favourite screams from various dubs
I was going to mention that too, Evolution may be the worst thing ever, but so much good came out of it. Even if Super is mediocre, Toriyama giving content before he left is a blessing, no ifs or buts about it.

Re: Favourite screams from various dubs
I must say that I am surprised that no one has yet mentioned anything from the Future Trunks saga. There are so many bone-chilling screams. Re: The CW/4Kids Broadcasts of Kai on Toonzai and Vortexx
I love Chris Ayres, and I didnt know he had to redub some of his lines for the CW broadcast. I guess that's why he felt the need to insist to fans "If you want to see the real deal, DVDs are out, but this is a kid friendly broadcast"

Replacing questionable lines of dialogue with soundalike voices And if I recall correctly, it was Sean Schemmel doing them. Here's him as Vegeta at 2:07: https://youtu.be/rebTDWIsDP8?si=QfQde2o15VjJ6FJB The fact that they had to soften those dialogues more than they were on the edited Nicktoons dub...

Re: The CW/4Kids Broadcasts of Kai on Toonzai and Vortexx
Nicktoons, I know its just a sister channel so they are pretty much the same, but Nicktoons is a niche high tier cable channel. So Viacom felt more confident in allowing violence and death there. And it paid off, DBZKai was a huge hit for NIcktoons, kids and adults loved it. That makes sense. Being...

Dragon Ball Ireland showing whose the best.
I love these broadcasts, few saturday morning cartoons got away with the violence DBZKai did and was one of the final big hits of Saturday Mornings.

Re: Little known facts about your broadcast
Despite being a legal licensee, Telefuturo and La Tele used fan encodes for some episodes in Paraguay. Now that you mention it there was one case on Cartoon Network UK when the episode Free The Future first aired that they used a really poor copy of it that was clearly just a VHS recording they got...
