Had I not known it was DragonBall, I would probably have been impressed with the action sequences (they are fairly original). However due to the dire acting and plot, I would dislike the movie just as much.

My favourites would be early Tenshinhan, Piccolo and Goku. For me, they really are interesting both as characters and also the designs of these characters.

The only point at which Cell could have been defeated is while he is fighting Vegeta and, of course, Vegeta had to let him transform and absorb #18. Aside from any philosophical stand points, I think Vegeta is the most to blame. I think it is without a doubt the most idiotic move in the entire series.

I have to say Pilaf. Everything he does is always an absolute failure. The funniest Pilaf moments are when he interacted with Daimao. Hilarious.

The original DragonBall movies were just retellings. I'd rather have a completely new storyline. This is better than just having the canon story being told again with a few minor differences.

Some filler really adds to the story. Goku's training before the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai and, of course, the driving episode are really enjoyable. I don't watch all fillers because I know a lot of them are utter crap. However, when filler is done well it is on a par with the canon storyline.

I would watch a couple of episodes here and there, but at this stage I don't really care. The original version is the one I know and as I am stubborn I would watch that a LOT more than any redub.
