Re: The arrogant entrance of Future Trunks and Shin to DBZ
With Trunks, keep in mind that this was probably the first time in his life that he's been completely in control of a situation. Where he knows that he is stronger than his enemy. Why begrudge him a little fun?

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Well... I at least liked Roshi pointing out the teachings of all of Goku's masters and Goku talking about "perfection" not being a goal. But other than that... I found very little to praise in this chapter. They mentioned at the start how few fighters remained, and it hit me just how much ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Yeah, Kale and Caulifla's bond is handled so poorly in the manga. One of my favourite aspects of the arc in the anime is that we were given two powerful female characters who both had each other's backs. It was something the series had not really done before, and it was all the better for it.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
I'm getting increasingly disappointed with this arc in the manga. Yes, it gives a more believable sense of a grand scale battle royale where nobody is safe, but that in itself doesn't make it an improvement. While several characters got disappointing exits from the battle in the anime, all of them f...

Re: Super Episode 131 (25 March 2018)
So... Since the Super Dragon Balls are infinite in power, do we think that Zamasu is back in his destroyed universe? Not that I'd expect to hear from him again...
But it would be nice to think that Future Gohan gets to exist in the afterlife.

Re: When Dragonball returns in 2019 I hope they don't adapt the movie into episodes again
Whether or not I'd be up for it depends on the quality of the movie. I loved Battle of Gods, and much of the retelling seemed unnecessary, however there was plenty of great moments that made it worthwhile. I felt Resurrection F wasn't great overall, with everything happening too fast for the revived...

Fat Buu probably wouldn't have much luck... Since when he trains he seems to fall asleep and regress.ToshioWrites wrote:Possibly. Although I tend to think that if Buu applied himself , he could reach absurd levels of power
But pure Buu... Maybe. Goku seems to think Uub had amazing potential, so who knows?

Could Cell have had the most potential of any character?
Saiyans seem to have an infinite potential, but combine that with Freeza's cells, which we now know have the potential for absurd growth in a relatively short time. Not to mention we've seen that even No. 17 was able to reach insane heights... so just how powerful could Cell become if he trained in ...

Sheesh, you take cheerleading to a whole new level. Seriously, little dude we get it, Goku's epic but my God enough with your never ending persistent praising of Goku. I'm a Goku fanboy myself but not to the extent of sucking his dick 24/7 (no offence). In other words calm down. And yeah the the ro...

Re: Super Episode 124 (21 January 2018)
I did feel a little underwhelmed by Gohan's ring out, but he did a great job. He took down, and helped take down a decent amount of fighters.
No complaints, but it's pretty interesting to see 17 still in the game at this point... He probably only has an episode or two left.

Re: Super Episode 121 (23 December 2017)
I'm enjoying the improved teamwork being shown by Goku and Vegeta. Goku has made a few saves these past few episodes, and it gives him a nice chance to interact with other characters. With Super often sort of leaning on his faults as a character, it's been refreshing to see him having his team's bac...

Re: Super Episode 118 (3 December 2017)
I'm not really a fan of Champa, but his send-off was so perfect.
One thing that Super is kicking its predecessors' butts in is showcasing combination attacks. There were a few scattered about in the original series, but Super has had some incredible scenes of characters fighting side-by-side.

Re: Super Episode 116 (19 November 2017)
If they weren't above Vegetto's level from 5 arcs ago, then there would be no point in any of this. Hell, Goku still made Kafla look like a fool in the end. I don't see how this is a problem in the slightest. Both went from not knowing what a ssj was to being able to give UI Goku a challenge, so mu...

Re: Super Episode 116 (19 November 2017)
I would love to see this whole fight with all the cutaways removed. I think it would be pretty awesome. Our first female Super Saiyans have finally been defeated, but they were given an epic run. How long did the fight clock in at in the end? Most were over in 1-2 minutes, while this one ended up at...

Re: Super Episode 112 (22 October 2017)
I don't see the big deal in Caulifla getting all the forms pretty quickly. Her body is clearly strong enough to achieve the forms already, at this point it's just about unlocking them for her. Every Saiyan character has grown through seeing the potential that they're capable of, based on other Saiya...

Re: Super Episode 112 (22 October 2017)
Also, I quite enjoyed the brief scene of Gohan/Piccolo vs. Universe 6 Namekians. Gohan saying that Goku would be fine and that they should focus was kinda a neat change of pace. I liked that both pairs are fighting while having each others' backs... Gohan blocking, allowing for Piccolo to get in a g...

Re: Super Episode 112 (22 October 2017)
Pretty good episode. A few notes of interest. Isn't this the first confirmation we've had that a wish could be used to bring back the other universes? Throughout everything that's happened, Quitela seems to have no loss of composure. Between that and his mystery fighters, there's definitely somethin...

The respect of Beerus.
I feel it's worth talking about how much the earthlings seem to have grown on Beerus. Despite his regular apathy towards anyone other than himself, he's displayed respect recently for Tenshinhan and, in particular, Roshi, even going so far as to caring about Roshi's wellbeing even after he stopped b...
