According to the article, the writer doesn't explicitly say they're using the Nicktoons version, it sounds like he's assuming because they're using the 1min opening, but it's pretty obvious. Plus Dayan was arguing with someone on Twitter because they were using the cut version.

Dragon Soul sounds like a really bad fan dub. YBCB sounds ok. As for the translation, if we get Funi's, I wonder which footage we're going to get, the Nicktoons censored version, or the uncut version. About the censoring issue, I remember watching DB since I was a kid, and I think there wasn't any censoring, I remember plenty of blood and violence. But it would be very interesting to see what they can get on TV now, plus it also depends on what channel and time slot it gets. As for the dubbing......
