I'm keeping them. The same way I kept my old FUNi VHS stuff (the whole series, all the movies/specials) and the Pioneer stuff before that (Saiyan/Namek sagas, movies 1,2,3). The same way I kept my LaserDisc of Movie 1 The same way I kept all my FUNi 3-episode DVDs (Ginyu through the end of the serie...

Hey everybody... Just a heads-up for anyone living in or around Atlanta, GA. The Best Buy near Cumberland Mall is selling the Dragon Box early. I just bought mine 20 minutes ago.

Hope that helps someone else who can't wait out.

Hmm... this is the second time this week I've heard poverty used as an excuse. It didn't fly with me on GFAQs as an excuse for pirating PSP games, and it won't fly with me here. If you enjoy something, you pay for it. Period. If you are a DB fan and don't own ANYTHING DB related, I'd say the argumen...

I got all my Creatures from HobbyLink Japan. The shipping is fast and less expensive than a lot of other sites. But do what you have to do to get these figures - they make McFarlane Toys look like Playmobil. The first four (Piccolo, Porunga, Cell & Freeza) are probably my favorite DB/DBZ figures...

I haven't gotten a chance to hear the new podcast yet (tomorrow on the way to work, probably), but I just wanted to say nice job on the new animation stills gallery. Fantastic work, guys! ...now if we could get the opening from Final Bout available for download, we'd be in business. Hint. Keep up th...

And Raditz' claim that Planet Vegeta was destroyed by a meteor, rather than by Freeza. It's pretty clear that Dodoria considers the fact that Freeza destroyed Planet Vegeta to be a big secret, so apparently the meteor thing was their cover-story. Oop. And so, upon rewatching those episodes, I now u...

After I posted about Vegeta's Final Bout pose, it occured to me that it would either be the one I was think of, or the one you guys were referring to. Thanks for clearing that up. And also, thanks for the replies on my Freeza-related missteps in the series. I don't know how, but I missed the Dodoria...

Since the "planted seeds" were brought up, I loved the Super Saiyan seed in this volume (Does Jeff read this? I hope not...). For some reason, I don't feel like this was the first place the Super Saiyan was brought up. Maybe I'm imagining things... But on the topic of seeds, this one, the ...

Great episode and great review. I'm very glad to see that the recap is here to stay, as it makes the whole review much easier to listen to, when it comes to remembering and identifying certain scenes, conversations, etc. But considering that this is my favorite segment of the whole DBZ series, its e...

Just looking at the top of page 2, I thought I'd look smart by indentifying those figures. Too late. I had the whole set (and still do somewhere), but as far as all of the ones I've got, they are toward the lower end of the spectrum. The snap-off clothes are a neat idea, I guess... but when they've ...

It looks like someone beat me to it. SSJ4 Goku is on the box for GT Season 1, and guess what? The transformation doesn't occur until episode 35. Episode 34, Season 1's last episode ends with Pan talking Golden Oozaru Goku down and thus beginning (not completing) the transformation. Mike and Meri hav...

Oop... I completely forgot that Miss Molly read Meri's name. A few kids I went to elementary school with shared the honor, and were treated like rock stars for it. Looks like I'll be re-listening to the the episode about the special, as now I'm intrigued to what the dialogue was actually supposed to...

The "Romper Room" debate is a mystery to me, especially considering that Mike and Meri are from New Jersey (I believe that I read that on here somewhere). So if Mike and Meri are from N.J. and Mike said a few weeks ago that he was 26, then the mystery is how they HAVEN'T heard of Romper Ro...

Another week, another great show. Keep it up! As far as the recap portion of the manga review, I really hope you keep it. I realize its time-consuming and most listeners have the plot memorized, but the segment feels incomplete without it. Fifty percent of my enjoyment of the bit is the recap; it br...

Oop... I forgot my take on the Buu arc in my previous post. Personally, I really like it. I do have a few main complaints with it, though: 1. On the show, the filler material is absolutely awful. Dabura picking flowers with Bulma and Chi-Chi? How stupid was that? (Answer: Extremely stupid). No, this...

^^^ I never even THOUGHT of sickness being a reason for the appreciation of the manga review, but now that I've thought about it, it makes absolute perfect sense. It isn't anywhere near the same thing, but about two years ago I worked at a private school that was mainly for kids with dyslexia and ot...
