I'm with Lemmy on this. I guess we just have to trust that they know what they are doing. To be honest, they've given us far too much in these sets to screw them up.
(that's not to say they won't screw them up... o_o )

I personally don't think they used the dragon boxes, but then again, like Julian said, they didn't use the old footage either. Maybe they acquired better masters and worked from that? But if it really is an independent master of the same film source, the question becomes: Why? My guess is that Toei ...

* cuts and pastes own post from AnimeonDVD * Time will prove me right or wrong, but here's my theory: NO DragonBox masters were used here. The press release makes mention of removal of thousands of instances of dirt, scratches, etc...and I've seen no such things on the DragonBoxes. Why? Because the...

Covers
I guess this is more of a legal question than anything else. I remember seeing a post by EX in which he was talking about 2 albums one here (itunes link) that had Dragon Ball (and other) covers on them. I would really like to make something along the lines of this. But that's not what I want to talk...

5.50 DBZ dvds at wal mart...
Yeah, just wanted to let you know that wal mart has the last two volumes of dbz, Kid buu - the price of victory and kid buu - a new beginning for 5.50 each! I didn't have them so I picked them up!
Check the 5.50 bins. You may have to search a little. Good luck, heh...

Man, I'd have loved to have been at E3 to play the demo. The videos I have look so cool. I played it there. You have freedom to move just about anywhere and if you're getting your butt kicked you can hide behind rocks and stuff. It puts me in the mind of virtual on (awesome game) the way you move a...

Ya, I do understand that. But something you seem to be missing. This mod was in the works for years, probably started shortly after JK came out, and then stopped for one reason or another. Now it's being picked up again. (jetto note: thank you) Why pick this up again instead of move it and start ov...

I understand your side of the argument, so please understand mine. Graphics aren't everything, and neither is gameplay. There is a balance. But, heck, why use a screwdriver when you can use a power drill? Why use the JK engine when there is the q3 engine( Which, OH MY GOSH, The JK games moved to), t...

You're missing the point. I just feel that if you're going to do a mod, you should do it right. Graphics aren't everything, but they do play a big part in the experience. Even if the gameplay is excellent, would you buy a dbz game (or any game, for that matter) for the ps2 that had ps1/saturn graphi...
