Yep, it definetely wasn't remastered. Pretty much they just took the old footage and slapped it onto a DVD.

Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans was never remastered so I'm not holding my breath for it.

They should just up the disc count to 7 and include all 3 audio tracks to make everyone happy.

I'm still deciding whether or not to buy the DB sets. I probably will though cuz they'll be close to perfect.

I wonder if Japanese fans are happy for this release. If I'm correct FUNI's DVDs play in region 4 which would be Japan.

The Playdia footage is so rapped up in rights it's probably damn near impossible to get. I guess we'll just have to enjoy the awesome fandub for now. I'm pretty sure there is some bootleg DVDs out there though. I doubt that. The only people I think who holds the rights are Bandai. I heard somewhere...

This is a tough question. There both dicks.

I think they should of ended it after Cell. Though the Buu arc was good, I would consider it about as good or maybe slightly better than GT.

Is that SS Gohan in that collection a bootleg or is the Bandai logo just cut off?

To be honest the thing I worry about the most with this release is if they keep the Japanese insert, opening, and ending songs in the dub. Other things I hope for are the American BGM and the quality do to there being 42 episodes on 6 disc.

I actually like both scores of music and I hope that these DVDs will have it. I just want the best release possible and another BGM option won't hurt anything. If they do decide to put the DVDs on 7 disc I think it's possible.

Are those photos taken at slightly different times?

I still don't think they'll be able to squeeze in 100 episodes even though there gona be taking out Garlic Junior and The Other World tournament sagas. It'll probably be more like 130-150 episodes.

I'm just throwing this out there but maybe the sixth disc will be a double layered DVD sorta like in the Scooby-Doo, Where Are You season 3 DVD set. Still hope we get 7 disc cuz I want the cover art on the disc from the real DBOXs and the best quality possible.

The FUNimation forums are a really nice place. I just usually go to Daizex first because they get the information first.
