Recently scanned in my imported Advance Adventure , so I could make some album art out of it (a few of the tunes are on my iPod and the art I was using at the time sucked). Here's a few edits I spotted in this week's episode: 1) ShenLong was removed from the intro. AGAIN. 2) The shot of Goku holding Nappa above his head with Gohan and Krillin watching was removed, and it instead cuts to when Goku tosses Nappa over to Vegeta. 3) Nappa's death has SPARKLES! OMGYAY! Ugggh...

And almost all of those Commercials are on the Japanese Dragon Box DVDs!

BTW, the DBZ Gaiden commercial still tends to creep the living piss out of me sometimes. It's just... Weird.

God damn are those boxes expensive! I remember a few months back that somebody posted the Japanese Dragon Box Z 1 on eBay for $250, which is a lot more cheaper than what we're looking at here.

I bought a new copy of Dragon Box 1 from Amazon for $24.99, but I think it was a holiday sale due to the fact that it's back up at $49.99 now. My best guess is to go check out Amazon's sellers and see which one has the cheaper Box sets.

This announcement had me thinking of what will happen once Funimation gets around to streaming Kai: Would it be the Uncut DVD version, or would it be the Nicktoons edit in an attempt to get fans to buy the DVDs for the "Uncut Experience"?

I think they would be Region 4 playable. Almost every DVD that Funimation ships out nowadays are Region 1 & Region 4 compatible. If you want to go for cheap, go for the US copy instead of the Australian copy. It'll still play.

This makes me one happy camper. Now if FUNimation can get DBZ onto the Zune Marketplace and Netflix Instant Streaming (Although Netflix would probably end up with the crappy Orange Brick episodes instead of the Dragon Box episodes), I'm all for it.

Yeah, I could totally see something like that be made. Just remove all references to One Piece, slap on HD graphics to get rid of the cheap DS-like graphics, and you got yourself a DBZ game for the Kinect!
