I find it incredible myself, but there are indeed initial signs after over a decade as part of the Keitai game preservation movement: 2.5 titles of the Dragon Ball games have been successfully preserved (apparently back in September 2024). I'm very curious!

Yes - It was, even back then it looked somehow clunky ...

Street Fighter II defined the genre allready in 1991 in the arcades, and was ported to the super famicom home console 10 June, 1992 ... So the blueprint was allready present for a good amount of time :)
