Re: Dragon Ball Online News
Ok, I saw those androids as well as the cyborg Tao and was pretty amused, but that picture of Piccolo and a time traveling Trunks standing guard over and aged Elder Muuri really widened my eyes. This game is going to be perpetually interesting.

Re: Dragon Ball Fantasies, anyone?
If I was to string together all of my imaginary scenes that I thought up through middle school and the begnning of high school, I'd have a series as long as the three anime runs put together.

AF is still going really well for me. I think it's a perfectly fitting sequel to GT, plus all of the characters are receiving the kind of development that they didnt in those 64 episodes (I honestly think this stuff should become licensed). I REALLY like that the dragons are involved, Goku is edging...

Scarz - That Vegeta is one of my favorite figures in my collection, it's comletely detailed and awesome! Anyway, my friend went to Japan over spring break and brought me back a glass seven-star Dragon Ball! It's incredible looking. When I hold it up and let the sunlight shine through it, I feel lik...

I also have always thought that Cell would work really well in a live action movie. Him, the Androids, and the Saiyans I think could work a lot better than Frieza or Buu.

Thanks, that's neat, I can imagine that one was incredible on the big screen. My original post is now corrected.

Re: How many of you own the entire series?
Yeah, the 10'th Anniversary special, Bardock, Trunks, and the GT special are the four that I was referring to. I failed to acknowledge that I'm missing the fifth special from the Jump Anime Tour.

Re: How many of you own the entire series?
This is interesting stuff, I really like comparing collections with all of the different versions. Dragon Ball : Volumes 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the saga sets (General Blue-Tenshinhan sagas). Dragon Ball Z : Ocean's dub- All except for volumes 9, 10, 12, 15, and 17. (So all of Saiyan saga, need 5 of Namek...

Re: Piccolo vs. 17
Not really, but it gets called "Gekiretsu-Kodan" (Violent Light Bullet) in the video games. edit : Wait, seems Daizenshuu 2 calls it "Chou-Bakuretsu-Maha" (Super Explosive Demon Wave)...though Daizenshuu 7 and several video games use this name for the attack Piccolo uses to blow...

Re: Piccolo vs. 17
Boy that was a cool fight. I think he would have won using that blast he ended up using on Imperfect Cell. Did the Daizenshuu give a name to that attack?

Re: FUNimation Announces "Kai" License ("DBZ Kai")
I'm glad this happened sooner rather than later. After seeing the Japanese Kai I'm not as excited as I would have been a few months ago, but still pretty excited. The re-dubs of the episodes are going to be fun I think. I'll invest in the blu-rays for sure. Watching DBZK and FMA:B in the coming mont...

Re: What was the last part of Dragon Ball you watched/read?
I just watched a lot of GT not too long ago as well, the first five volumes of the Funi singles that cover the first half of the Bebi Saga, then the five volume shadow Dragon saga. It's amazing how boring the Bebi stuff is, like they weren't even trying, but then you watch the Shadow Dragon episodes...

I really like the update, and perfect timing too- I joined the forum exactly four years ago! I'm going to try posting more, the board's new style is encouraging.

Re: Action figure question
I have those two. They're some of the sturdier Super Battle Collection figures in my opinion, and the Gohan is really well proportioned. Yeah, the Goten's non-SSJ head is a little goofy, but Gohan's captures the anime spot-on. On both of them though, the SSJ heads are far more badass. Even though th...

Re: DragonBall DS 2: Charge! Red Ribbon Army! Announced
I'm glad to hear about this, mostly to see the improvements from the last game. The first one is really good, but there is definitely room for tweaking and diversifying as far as game play is concerned. Of course, I'm still stuck in the Ox King fight .

I prefer the single discs, never touched the season sets. I like it because it's the version I saw on TV and that means a lot to me. Also, the cropping of the season sets really bothers me. I'm also somewhat of a completest, so when the season 1 set was announced I hated the idea of buying the orang...
