::Reads through Thread:: I think now that anything involving young Goten and Trunks is automatically doomed to be humorous... As for Goten and Trunks' reasons being despair b/c of their families... I don't think so . With Goten, we see that Chi-Chi is nowhere near as strict with him as she was with ...

Yeah, recessive traits seem to be the best explanation. I'm no expert, but I'll see what I can say. Think about it this way; Gohan, Goten, and Trunks are each half-saiyan, half-human. They each have one fully Saiyan parent, with the genes for a tail, and one fully human parent, with no tail genes. S...

I don't find anything wrong with it either. Maybe I should go back and time and Tell the first humans not to wear clothes, and for God's sake, DON'T EAT THE APPLE!! "For God's sake." That's witty. Was that on purpose? Anyway, I agree with the general consensus here. It's just cultural dif...

I kinda like the theme. I know its not the original, but hey, whatever.

For what it's worth, yeah, it's a bit long, but it still sounds really cool with the stereo turned up.

That's just my two cents.

Italian DBGT Theme

This may be a bit too random, but I found this... http://youtube.com/watch?v=Yjq9QFxJNbQ&search=dragonball%20gt It's Italy's original theme for GT... and it's pretty interesting. Not as good as good ol' DAN DAN , but definitely a heckuva lot better than Funi's theme (then again, what isn't?).

Nah, odds are, they just didn't want to use the same colors.

Well, I can think of much worse exaples then the Cell and Trunks one. Overall the animation is cheaper, which leads to the characters to express less emotion and take away detail. Take this for example. Immediately we can see a difference between the 'two' animator's work. Good lord... Trunks' neck...

"It was filler" = Best and most convenient way to dismiss something.

I agree with Kodoshin, though. He jumped back up to SSj3 mostly to save Vegeta. Still, the fight didn't last much longer after that, so it was apparently just a second wind.

The DragonBall manga simply shouldn't have had a Z added to it at any point in its running, but it's a marketing scheme by Viz which I guess may be helping sell graphic novels. I'm pretty sure it's just because American audiences in general (not just we well-knowledged fans) are more famliar with t...

Okay... I can't help but add my two... or seventy-five... cents... please forgive me... I believe the best course of action would be, at most , a trilogy. Obviously, filler and unnecessary stuff that came from either the manga/anime would have zero presence and weight on them. Only the heroes and ot...

And don't forget guns. They edited out Juunanagou's when he was threatening an man in Trunks' reality, and the gunmen who shot the old couple and Bee were sporting laser guns. Hmm. The manga just says that he was absorbed by Boo. In the anime he makes a surprise attack on him while East Kaioshin (The one from the series) is about to be killed by Boo. Right. The manga never goes into that much detail, but I do very much remember the anime showing the fat Dai Kaioshin being a b...

Let's not forget the "power-boost-after-brush-with-death" thing he got from his Saiyan DNA (That "Z" word; I forget it).
That could have helped his being re-perfected in addition to his SSj2-esque power boost.

Whoa... what happened here? Xyex, I think I remember Gotenks not being able to do any real damage to Super Buu (I can't remember if he fought Fat Buu) before he went SSj3. Also, it seems premature to think that he was SSj1 - he could've been SSj2, which would seem at least reasonable. That's a good...

Wow. So Gotenks is better than he's been given credit for, to have matched or surpassed Goku. Although when you get right down to it, Goku never fought normal Super Buu, and Gotenks probably couldn't handle Piccolo/Goten/Trunks Buu either (mainly because he was the one absorbed, but... ah, whatever)...
