By the way, I noticed that in a DBZ episode from the Great Saiyaman saga, when Gohan was training with Videl and Goten, there was a scene where Chi-chi was telling them about a 'date' that she had with Goku. In it, Goku says at first "Gosh, are we supposed to do something since this is like a d...

Uh, excuse me, but I never said I was a better fan because I pronounced the name correctly. My point was that they corrected me during a performance(lighten up girls), and they were wrong. I was stating that people need to do their research before they go around spouting things like they're the rig...

Tell me about it! You don't know how annoying it is to be at a con, doing an anime related performance and be improperly corrected on the pronunciation of Shippo by dub IY fangirls in the audience. As far as I'm concerned, unless they're pronouncing things like "En-uh-Yoo-shuh" for...

The reason the 'shaking' isn't nearly as noticable on other shows, is because of how technology has progressed since the time of shows such as DBZ and YYH. Ignoring the REALLY sloppy editing on One Piece that Tsukento already pointed out, shows like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Megaman.EXE for instance were made a...

I think they kept Dragonball's original BGM because at the time it was being shown as something that came before DBZ, and DBZ had gotten most of its attention before Dragonball (a lot of people didn't even know about Dragonball at the time, even with those first 13 episodes). So, maybe in order to k...

I will say that Dragonball Z has the ONLY U.S. Soundtrack I've ever liked among any other anime that'd had its original background music replaced. I didn't like the old fashioned Megaman-style music from the first two seasons, but the Bruce Falconer music was AWESOME. I'm a lot more accustomed to it...

Chances are slim, but maybe they wanted to call him something along the lines of 'Devil', but figured that people may change he's name when dubbing or even further be offended by the name, so gave him a different name, Dabura. If that WERE the case, then a lot of things in anime and manga would be ...

As stupid as this sounds, I have a slight attachment to the "Bulma & the Crab" Namek Saga episode because it was actually the first DBZ episode I had EVER seen...and that was WAY back when I thought that Dragonball and the Nintendo Arcade game "Double Dragon" were the same th...

Yeah. The "Double" or "Doubler" titles were back when we were still on the Saiyan and Namek sagas, I believe.

Well, compared to a lot of animes of today that are aimed towards the same age group as Dragonball, I think DBZ has a lot of very fluid animation at almost all times. In a lot of today's anime's, with fight scenes, they use almost NOTHING but scrolling and zooms with still shots of the characters at...

XD Whoops, sorry about the big image. Ah NOW I see. I probably would've reffered to him as Dabra as well more often if I had noticed that. I was surprised they didn't have another character known as 'Aburaka' or something to that extent for one of Babidi's other henchmen. Though, even if it is incor...

Dabura...the Devil?

Hey there, Kirbopher here. Creator of the popular growing flash series TTA. Glad to join the forum, dunno why I didn't 'til now. Gotta question for ya. Now, a LONG time ago, back when I knew next to nothing about the Majin Buu saga in general, I heard of a villain character on another DBZ site calle...
