Re: Fuji TV apparantly Fuji TV has Dragon Ball TV anime masters still. Could a remaster be on the way in a few years?
DBGT wasn't stored on film as far as I know. Did you see the DBGT Dragon boxes yourself? Are you referring to audio when you say it's a sub par release? The example of Cutie Honey Flash is not too relevant because it's far away from the hit Dragon Ball has been. Why would they remaster that properl...

Re: Fuji TV apparantly Fuji TV has Dragon Ball TV anime masters still. Could a remaster be on the way in a few years?
What other good material is that? It was mentioned on here that for GT, they didn't throw away their master tapes, and yet they still put out a subpar release on its Dragon Boxes. Far as a non-DB example, they also made Cutie Honey Flash (apparently their last Cel animated series)... in 1997... and...

Toei is cringe unlike most everyone else operating since the 80's, especially considering that they don't do anything with even the good material they actually do still have (not to talk of some other establishment or individual). So the pessimistic view is the only possible one that will manifest ...

Re: Is Dragon Ball SD worth to buy?
If you like dragon Ball with some what if and some references to Z with some changes then SD might be for you the wiki says that it's a kids manga but they keep some outfits that might not be appropriate for kids but they also changed some things like krilln not dieing but freeza and namic not expl...

Is Dragon Ball SD worth to buy?
I'm wondering whether or not to spend money on Dragon Ball SD by Naho Ooishi since it's being released in France. Has anyone read a considerate amount of the 9 volumes that are out and could comment on it?

I too was one of those fans who hoped TOEI remastering the TV specials would be a sign they would work on the series, but it really wasn't in retrospect. While the TV specials are not movies, TOEI doing a HD scan of them is still more comparable to them doing a scan of the movies. They are self-con...

Re: Fuji TV apparantly Fuji TV has Dragon Ball TV anime masters still. Could a remaster be on the way in a few years?
You're completely right. I was just throwing up the question and as you see from the chat, I am hesitant to a project like that being under way or coming to fruition. It's Toei, after all. For me, it's exactly the same as the situation we've heard here for a long time regarding Chris Sabat and the ...

Re: Apparantly Fuji TV has Dragon Ball TV anime masters still? Can someone understanding japanese investigate this?
Interesting discussion there sangofe  . I'd love to talk with someone that does remasters for a living, such a cool profession. I see this individual shares the lack of faith many of us have in TOEI. I'd love to think Fuji TV's masters are being held on for a future Blu-Ray release, but I'...

I see. Thank you for this. I wonder and really hope that this source could maybe be used for a future remastering of the TV animes but that might be dreaming too much. From what date is the post? https://twitter.com/nappasan/status/1766770940057387252 some infos are given in comments and other disc...

Re: Is Super on its way out?
Not to dump on anyone who enjoys the manga, but to be honest it feels like the manga has outlived its purpose. The manga seems more like it's a curiosity to most people that I've interacted with online and people I know personally haven't even read more than a couple chapters if at all. That's actu...

Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
Iyoku seemed like he was going to change strategy about Dragon Ball for the next few years. If they continue, let's hope that's so. I'm not sure Toyotaro will be able to continue if he goes into a depression tbh...

Hey y'all. I am not promoting any channel for myself but simply trying to set up something for other people who feel like me. I am one of those who never got to really voice talk with other fellow fans about Akira Toriyama's passing and what he meant to me. I had a missed opportunity with a french y...
