Pretty good piece, and quite fitting for Beerus. I really like the choir. That said, while I enjoy the BOG soundtrack well enough when I'm hearing it, I just can't keep any of it in my head. I don't know why.

Re: Opinions on Pieces of Music - V3!
A lovely trumpet piece and great for those moments after the battle is over and the heat is off. I also like that (variation's of) its leitmotif continued to be used in later tracks for similar purposes even carrying over to DBZ.

Yeah, I love the old-timey sound of that piano track, too, and agree that it should've been used more.

Very energetic and great for battle or chase scenes, particularly involving Kuririn, since it's his leitmotif.

Re: Opinions on Pieces of Music - V3!
Sounds like the type of track that would be used toward the end of an episode to build suspense for what'll happen in the next episode.

goin off topic a lil but which aspect ration do you like better 16:9 or 4:3? I don't have a preference for any particular aspect ratio, just whichever one is correct for a given show or movie. @American Pelican: Whether or not BPU will be kept in the dub is anyone's guess, but I can tell you there'...

A dark and suspenseful piece of music, with awesome string work. Great track for building tension for when something bad happens.

An awesome suspense builder. Gotta love that timpani (*da-da-dumm*) and that bell-like sound (what exactly is that?). Listening to that track, you know something's about to go down.

Actually, it was movie 5 that had the Latino dub.dbboxkaifan wrote:And for whatever reason Lord Slug has the Spanish Latino dub which puts FUNimation's English dub to shame for its inaccuracy and voice acting.

The Dragon Box and Japanese singles, simply because they're the most complete, with all of the proper opening and ending animations/credits, and NEPs. The Japanese Dragon Box would literally cost you an arm or a leg. Assuming you could even find a copy. Well, there's also the Japanese singles, which...

Yes, that's the theme of child Gohan, but Gaffer Tape was asking about the reworked version of the leitmotif for teen Gohan that kenisu3000 mentioned.penguintruth wrote:I think https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sDjoC55IW0 is being referred to.

Sumitomo didn't score the UT cutscenes. That was Hiroshi Takaki.Arian wrote:Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes! I'm no Kai fan, but his compositions for the cutscenes in Ultimate Tenkaichi were absolutely astounding, some of the best stuff I've heard overall. He definitely has my vote.

I'm not a Japanese DBox owner, but from what I understand, the Japanese DBooks have interviews with the cast and crew that are absent in the US ones.
