Re: All-purpose Dragon Ball sale/trade thread.
Hey guys I'm gonna sell all of the 16x9 Blurays of Dragonball Z and I wanna know if anyone is interested in them? Also I'm only shipping to the US. But I wanna make sure it's clear that I get the money before I send them out. So you can either send a check or cash. I've been conned in the past and i...

Re: "Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot" Official Discussion Thread
I just got through beating the game! It was fun. I had a good relaxing time with it. Nothing really stressed me out like a lot of Dragonball Z games. Lol but kakarot, Budokai 3 for ps2, & Hyper demensions for the snes are among my favorites! Xenoverse is alright too. Haha It actually shocked me ...

Re: What's your most recent Dragonball purchase?
I just picked up the original DVDs for Fusion Reborn and The 2nd Broly movie. Since I own the Dragonboxes for the movies I kinda wanna move away from Funi's remastered sets.

I don't care if I get banned for saying this because this is the truth. This thread is the worst thread on this site and is a stain on this community. I'm saying this because there are no REAL discussions going on here. It's just hurling insults back and forth at one another. I'm not saying i'm taki...

I don't have a real on paper job at the moment but I always consider myself a wellcare worker because I've devoted 6 years of my life taking care of my bed fast grandfather who has Alzheimers and basically have to do everything for him. my grandma gives me a little money for helping but I've told he...

Re: Recording vs Buying In the 90's/2000's
Those could be very valuable to the fan scene if they were from the original broadcasts and recorded on a hifi recorder. Yes, the International Channel broadcast a lot of interesting stuff. It was great if you had a dish and was watching it directly from Japan. But I don't miss not having satellite...

Re: Recording vs Buying In the 90's/2000's
I recorded as many as possible so I could rewatch them as much as I pleased (if I happened to be watching while recording, I'd stop and start it to cut out commercials so I could fit more on each tape). Then once the DVDs started coming out, I started purchasing those since I wanted to watch it in ...

Re: Orange Bricks - Why the Bleaching?
I've always hated the orange bricks. That's why I gave them all away for free and took a loss. At the time of the release for the bluray sets I just figured ''well...Atleast these aren't as bad as the OB's." Because with the OB's lines would disappear etc so I just stuck with those until I had ...

Idk why but I figured i'd share this funny moment with ya'll. So as I said the posts above that I was recording Toonami right? Well, I was in the living room and when My Hero Academia went off I went back in my room to watch TV(Our living room only has a big Standard def TV) I seen Toonami on and se...

Wasn't there someone who posted here about a voice actor from South Korea who could have replaced Masako Nozawa? I think I remember them sounding really really good too!

Re: Recording vs Buying In the 90's/2000's
As a kid, I didn't care much about "preserving", but I always kept any tapes or DVDRs recorded. Why would I throw them away? I loved Dragon Ball, and being able to watch these episodes any time I liked was great. I still have some portions of the Boo arc and GT on tapes that I've never go...

Re: Recording vs Buying In the 90's/2000's
Preserving wasn’t really on the back of my mind as a kid. I just watched it as it aired on Toonami. I think I saw most of the Garlic Jr saga-Fusion saga as it aired. Didn’t see much of the Saiyan and Namek sagas as done by the Ocean cast and I think I didn’t see any of tie initial Funi cast take ov...

Re: What would be your ideal Dragon Ball home release?
I actually own both the original DVD Season releases of Mobile fighter G gundam and the New Bluray sets and those Bluray sets look absolutely incredible. My point exactly. Plenty more where that came from too. They work on numerous different series and are capable of successfully remastering just a...

Re: What would be your ideal Dragon Ball home release?
I'm honestly satisfied with the Dragonboxes and the new 30th anniversary sets. I do wish that the 30th sets had NEP buuuut. hahaha I personally believe that I have the sets I always wanted now. I don't believe we'll ever see another or better release of the Dragonboxes in our lifetimes. and I'm happ...

Re: Dragonball and Preserving the past.
The 1 issue I dread is actually digitizing my Toonami tapes. They are full 6 to 8 hour broadcasts. I have over 80! So just think of the file sizes plus the hours it's gonna take to do that. Lol I would rather do the job myself rather than hand them over to some stranger on the Internet. I actu...

Re: Dragonball and Preserving the past.
Yeah you never see this kind of hoarding mentality in any of the film and TV communities that i'm part of, everyone is always eager to share the rare piece of media they have with everyone else. Hell I went to the trouble of sending some ultra-rare films that only ever came out on VHS to other peop...
