I would kick Chris Sabat in the throat, then proclaim myself as the Prince of all Saiyans once again.

Seriously, though, I would probably just say hi. I'd probably be tempted to show off my imitation of the English Vegeta. :)

The only thing I liked about GT was the intros and outros.

I felt they were far superior to those in DB/Z

Another interesting similarity I've noticed: Both Goku and Luffy refer to themselves as ora . "Ora Goku!" "Ora Luffy!" (I'm Goku/Luffy) Ora, as I understand it, is not a real Japanese word. It is an offshoot of the word "ore," and the ONLY time I've ever heard it used a...

The striking similarity between Son Goku and..... Luffy??!

Hey there, Dragonball fans. Perhaps you have seen One Piece before, perhaps not. I myself am new to the series, and while I don't want to get too far off topic from "Dragon Ball General Discussion," I must say this series/manga amazes me. Terrific story, terrific humor, terrific characters...

Common misconception. Goku was not killed by Freeza on Namek. It was never stated in the original version, so the Greek interpretation of it is incorrect. Put simply, even if Goku HAD died, which he didn't, the wish wouldn't have resurrected him. Why? The wish to bring everyone back to life was used...

That's rather redundant, you know that, right? Of course the show went from choreography, to what it is now, because it's an attempted conveyance at increasing power, which is something that is difficult when you're "making up" power, that never exists in reality; further when a character...

Out of all the dub voices, the one that sticks out to me as the best has got to be #17.

Whoever voiced him (Chuck Hubert?) really nailed it, in my opinion. The tone, the line delivery... Perfect.

Other than that, I pretty much can't stand the dub. Dende's voice was alright, I guess...

Does it personally offend you that I posted the name of a fansub group? The NAME of a fansub group? The question still stands. A simple edit of my post without the snide comment would have sufficed, don't you think? If you're going to post again, lost in whatever, do so without Mike's dick down your...

The fights in the series became more and more lame as the series went on. They went from a highly-choreographed style where you would actually be able to see every punch and kick (in Dragonball), to a 2-frame cop out, where the opponents would just be floating in the air with their arms and legs fla...

There's only one tactic that stands out in my mind as impressive, and Kaze no Mune mentioned it. Son Goku performing the KameHameHa Wave from his feet to gain back some ground. In DBZ? None. Dragonball? Son Goku VS. Piccolo Jr. at the 23rd Budokai. Also, seeing Goku get fucked up by Piccolo Daimao the first time they met was pretty cringe-inducing. I mean, he beat his ass so bad that his heart stopped! And, while we're on the subject, how exactly was able to come back from...
