Re: Inconsistency with Raditz?
1. Sorry, I don't buy it. Yes, Piccolo and Gohan's surprise attacks hurt Nappa (who was off-guard), and some of Vegeta's surprise attacks hurt Reacoom (who was off-guard), but they were nothing permanent. Reacoom still got back up to beat the crap out of Vegeta, and Nappa was still in tip-top condi...

Re: Future #17 and... pills?
Gokû was a former Budôkai champion. It's not impossible that the newspaper might have had "FORMER WORLD CHAMPION OF MARTIAL ARTS DEAD" as a headline one day, and Gero might have spotted it. I always thought that the Z figthers wanted to have nothing to do with the media, so I don't see ho...

Re: Kaioshin names in the manga
It's a funny thing because his name is never actually said from his introduction in Vol 41 ch. 501 until Kid buu is defeated in vol 42 ch. 517. There are two occasions though where he talks about himself. The first one is when he explains Majin Buu's background, where Aku(Super) Buu becomes Junsui(K...

But he wasn't monitoring them anymore, so he wouldn't possibly know about Goku's death, meaning the androids had the same power in all timelines. Excellent point. It's possible news reached him somehow, though. Now I must rack my brain to figure out how. :P Gokû was a former Budôkai champion. It's ...

Re: So Goku's BP was only 23.000??
Ginyu's ki manipulation skills are based solely on the body and not the spirit or the combination of spirit and body. In that sense, it's more like what Vegeta and Nappa did on Earth. So the 23,000 is just the power Goku emits when you ignore the effects his spirit has on his strength. The 90,000 c...

Re: So Goku's BP was only 23.000??
It's not just a matter of how much power Goku has, but what type of control he has over it. The way Goku has learned to control his power might not be the same way Ginyu does ( in fact, it certainly isn't ). When Ginyu tries to do things "his way," it's not going to work that well. Oh I s...

So Goku's BP was only 23.000??
When Goku arrived on Namek and beat up the Ginyu's it was pretty obvious that he was well above them, his BP actually was at 90.000(but only in bursts). But then Ginyu steps onto the scene and takes Goku's body from him because it was so much stronger than Ginyu's. At first it looks like Ginyu has a...

@ Bussani
That is also a good explanation of why Raditz was afraid of Piccolo's attack, because not only was it close to his power level, it was also concentrated in a single point(his fingertips) which Raditz also notices.

My theory for the next episode: 1. Vegeta's wrath, 2. Vegeta confronting Krillin & Gohan at Guru's place, 3. The Ginyu Force arriving(it would be nice to see how they are gonna be portrayed), 4. Guldo vs. Krillin & Gohan. All of this seasoned with the spicyness of TFS humour! Don't forget V...

Re: DragonBall Z Abridged
It would be funny, if they ever get that far, when Krillin shoots a hole in Vegeta's chest to make Vegeta stronger, that Vegeta would then be upset with Dende for almost letting him being killed by Krillin in the scene where Vegeta kicks the defenseless namek. xD And I also wonder how they're gonna ...

Re: Inconsistency with Raditz?
Raditz' BP is not an inconsistency in any way, as we see later on in the same saga that it's possible to damage someone even though you are much weaker, than the one defending. For example: Gohan after Piccolo's death had managed to gather all his energy into his palms and then fire it at Nappa. Veg...

Re: Sensing ki from the afterlife.
Goku/Kaio in the afterlife ...may need to concentrate in order to sense Super Perfect Cell's ki...who's also in the afterlife ? Since when is concentration necessary to feel a large ki? I was referring to when Cell was on Earth. I'm not sure how the mechanics of someone dying and allowing to keep t...

Re: Why all the hate for Cell and Buu Sagas?
*awesomeness snipped* My God, I've been meaning to say this for years now. Yeah, I got to agree, what Cipher said really made Vegeta look like the deep character that he is(even though AT according to some hated the character and only kept him in because of fan demand). Vegeta's stupidity, as Ciphe...

Re: Future #17 and... pills?
Although that still leaves the question of why exactly are they weaker than their past counterparts. I don't know how to explain, either, but I do think the future ones are weaker. It's possible they actually are. Gero wouldn't have had a reason to create #19 and get turned into #20 with Goku being...

Re: Vegeta learned to hide his true strength while on Earth??
I get what you mean, but then how come Nappa and Vegeta expected Goku's BP to increase when they saw him powering up? The fact that they didn't assume it was what you call drawing out implies that both get detected by scouters. Also (for back on-topic purposes), Vegeta compares his drawing out to G...

Re: Vegeta learned to hide his true strength while on Earth??
What Xyex said fit very well with my analogy about visible apples, powering up is when you go from having a suppressed power level to your max power, which the scouter detects as increasing as it gradually comes out in the open. While drawing out power is when a character assigns all of ones ki arou...

Re: Vegeta learned to hide his true strength while on Earth??
@ FindKenshi I will try to explain it in an analogy here. First the ones who can't hide their PLs. Nappa and Vegeta have a set number of apples attached to their stomach, Nappa has 7( I believe his PL is this*1000) and Vegeta has 18. The apples are placed very close together, so it is hard to pinpoi...
