What the US DVDs do is make it seem like Mr. Satan's first name is Hercul e, for those fans that are used to the Hercul e name from watching it on TV. In The Great Saiyaman Saga, on the edited TV version, Eresa tells Gohan, "Videl here is the daughter of Hercule!" to which Gohan answers, &...

Well obviously I wasn't talking about Vegeta's weird hair that looked like someone sliced the top off and that was it...and certainly the mustache wasn't one of the highlights. I meant I like Vegeta with the adult Gohan type hair. And I liked Super Saiyan 4, it was just different. And I didn't say G...

The reason is probably because the little bits they cut out contain voices or Japanese dialogue. But so what? I think it sounds really bad with the Japanese music and American voices. I prefer Faulconer's music with the US voice work.

Because the image the US version wanted to go for was original. Original music and everything. Would be weird if they had the Japanese-esque opener, and then original American music.

Yeah they can have the license, giving them the credit and whatnot. I mean they can have the license and still have others put it out there, Lion Gate would get money for that. Besides, FUNimation did redub the first 13 episodes. I don't understand what the problem is. Lion Gate acquired the license...

They are not weak, they can defeat any human, but they're not exactly Super Saiyans. The second Goku became a Super Saiyan, that was the beginning of a gap that could never be filled by humans. They can't just magically get all powerful to hang in there with Super Saiyans, then people would wonder w...

Yeah but everyone expected a continuation in the series, which is why GT came to be...I personally liked GT for only one reason, it was the continuation of my favorite show of all time lol. I didn't even pay attention to how lousy the story was, and I liked Vegeta with short hair. On top of that, it...

lol You may find it funny that they've never watched a Japanese episode in their life, all they know is that the original dubbing team was kind of way off with the scripting, so that's what they based their whole knowledge on. Actually, the truth is, once FUNimation got a firm grasp on the series (F...

I don't think the Frieza Saga or Cell Saga had a normal ending...neither did Majin Buu for that matter. Actually, the Cell Saga would be most appropriate. Imagine if it did end at the Frieza Saga...Goku's "dead," but then Porunga tells them that he is alive and well, training somewhere. No...

I got the DVDs by FUNimation and yeah, it's all 100% uncut. As far as a "different version," if the voices were different...no couldn't be Ocean dub lol they're all censored. I don't know actually. If the voices were different, while speaking English, could've been a fan dub.

Well I hate that theme they have in the "Remastered" sets. I like the ones they did after the Frieza Saga and further on simply because it was original. Now, the sets WERE done half-assed. However, the reason why they didn't originally make an English version of Cha-La-Head-Cha-La is becau...

Well I guess they wanted to make it more appealing to the eyes. That, or put their own stamp on it. Honestly, can you imagine a yellow Dodoria? I can't lol

Well I am a collector of DBZ DVDs and I have practically the entire DBZ series (missing 2 Trunks DVDs, 3 movies, and the 2 TV specials, but getting there) and I have all of Dragon Ball GT on DVD, but I don't have any Dragon Ball. I went on Z Store's website and they actually took off every DBZ and D...

Well the fan subs aren't always right, as you can tell by the fan sub and official translations right here on this site. It was Uncut, but people I know still complain, claiming that it's not Uncut because they do not follow the translation word for word. I can't seem to get through to them that it ...
