Same here. That's why I bought the Japanese digital full color versions and making my own English version for my own personal collection. Not to send out to scanlators or anything. I'd recommend you do the same.

Owning the manga in about 7 different formats, I'd say you can't go wrong with the 3-in-1s. The price is the best bang for your buck. Next I'd say are the 1-16 of DB and 1-26 of DBZ graphic novel releases. Only for the better paper quality and that you wouldn't have to wait to get the whole series.

I don't see the difference with other manga art styles. Really? I started reading Naruto and can't stop comparing Kishimoto's artwork to Toriyama's. It's kinda wonky and takes awhile to get used to. Toriyama had to have cared at one point...the reason VIZ started publishing manga right to left instead of flipped was because Toriyama said he wouldn't let them publish Dragon Ball if they flopped it.
