Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

Blowing up the planet should be even easier. Why didn’t Omega Shenron just destroy the planets one by one? Because going from planet to planet would’ve been slower than Omega’s infection method which multiplies the more it destroys. But even that method is still slower than three-shotting the unive...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

1) Jiren's definitive statement was only stronger than Belmond. Goku beat Jiren with UI therefore stronger than Belmond. Since Beerus is Goku's benchmark [Magazine guide didn't even know if Mastered UI Goku was stronger than Beerus with a "might be"] he is stronger than both Jiren and Bel...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

1) Because SSB is definitely stronger than SSG (who did that), that's why SSB can do it as well. Do you believe that SS3 Goku can't blow up a planet because he never did it despite being much stronger than DBZ Freeza? 2) I've already stated why. SSG's means of destroying the universe is much faster...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

I don’t know if you really understood the point I made, but since the story isn’t affected by those “feats”, we shouldn’t be saying X character in DBSuper is definitely stronger than Y character in DBGT, since the “feat” aspect isn’t presented consistently in the fights. So, it’s quite possible tha...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

Seeing as how Ultra Instinct is portrayed as generally on the same level as if not vastly superior to even SSB Fusion, I'm inclined to think that HP Jiren surpasses SSFP Broly by a fairly wide margin. I will grant that SSFP Broly might be stronger than regular FP Jiren, but ONLY in raw power, and c...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

You are just repeating the same “SSGod punchs can shake the universe and GT characters can’t” argument. 1) SSBlue+ clashes (like Goku vs. Copy-Vegeta, Goku vs. Gohan, Goku vs. Freeza, Vegetto vs. Zamas, Goku vs. Jiren) don’t have that kind of effect so this is only an inconsistent feat. ,If it matt...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

Simply put, SSG has made much bigger feats and has faced enemies that also rank far above any GT enemy (in terms of capacity and what they can do). And since SSB has already been shown to be much stronger than God, there is no need for it to nearly destroy the universe in a fight so that this form ...

Of course, Broli would destroy Black. His normal Super Saiyan alone defeated a stronger SSB Goku.

Re: Do SSJG & SSJB Have Higher Multipliers In Proportion To SSJ2 & SSJ3?

You’re definitely twisting Vados’ line. She only meant fusion would be tens of times stronger than the fusees in the same form. She never said anything about the fusion’s base form being more powerful than their strongest form. 1) Think about this: If base Kale is stronger than SSJG Goku, who is st...

Re: Dragon Ball Super Strength Discussion Thread

The current enemies power naturally escalates over the previous every arc. Beerus is obviously an exception cause his intro had to do with setting the story of Super up and placing him as Goku's goal. Power inflation has always been a Dragonball story point and I think it is utterly laughable how p...

Re: Anime adaptation of the Broly movie: is it necessary?

The Gogeta thing only matters if you know that the Fusion Dance is a thing, so it’s not going to matter if you watched Fusion Reborn or not when watching GT as long as you’re aware that technique exists which you should if you watched the original series. Honestly, if you believe that a new likely ...

Re: Anime adaptation of the Broly movie: is it necessary?

No, this movie doesn't introduce anything relevant to franchise so it's absolutely skippable. BoG and RoF were different because they introduced god ki and two new forms. You don’t believe that Broli (who’ll likely be a recurring character) is relevant? If he will return then maybe. But if they don...

Re: Do SSJG & SSJB Have Higher Multipliers In Proportion To SSJ2 & SSJ3?

In the anime, SSB seems to be a huge jump in power as mainly shown with the fight with Kafla. Base Kafla was fighting with a (tired) SSG Goku, and SSB Goku was fighting well with SS Kafla. Even if you were to super lowball, that would mean that the jump from SSG to SSB is around 50x but that doesn’t...

Re: Do SSJG & SSJB Have Higher Multipliers In Proportion To SSJ2 & SSJ3?

You are thinking of the ritual SSJG. Post-ritual SSJG, otherwise known as "Stacked" SSJG, is a smaller multiplier on top of SSJ3. Well, careful. I agree with this, but the existence of a distinction between a ritual SSG and post-ritual SSG is still head canon. IMO, it is logical and ratio...

Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie Thread: "Broly"

So basically you just want them to be some one dimensional evil for the sake of it type character who enjoys terrorizing everything in his path with his evil smile on like the rest of the DB villains? That's fine, but not everyone is you so you should understand why people would want something bett...

Re: Official On-Going Dragon Ball Super Movie Thread: "Broly"

Nearly every villain from the Piccolo Daimao arc to the Boo arc (including movies) have been under that archetype. We don’t need another drop in that ocean. Besides it could be debated that this Broli isn’t a villain and is merely just an antagonist. If it isn’t broke, there’s no need to fix it. Th...

Thank you. Whether you like it or not, he’s not just KAKAROT in movie 8. Even then I prefer it over “he’s a good boy” full blooded Saiyan version of Gohan The blame is ultimately on Shueisha, Toei, & Bandai for overexaggerating one single trait when marketing or referring to Broly. Instead of f...

Re: Anime adaptation of the Broly movie: is it necessary?

I despised the DBS retelling and didn’t want this movie to have one but after hearing that the script was cut in half from the original and watching the movie for myself, I firmly believe that the movie’s pacing was rushed and that an anime retelling would do it much favor in the pacing department.
