http://www.amazon.co.jp/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00018GX9S/ref=pd_sr_ec_ir_d/249-7909783-5722701 Y80,000 is pretty good. 25,000 yen off Roughly $755 US is still a lot more money than I have to buy anime with. Even with my summer job, it'd take 2 1/2 weeks to get that much money, and I need it for college ...

I totally agree with that!! Info was something they never found in short supply, especially from the daizenshuu's. But did you ever check out their Manga Guide, it was pretty extensive, at least i thought so... speaking of Manga (though I know this is in the wrong section, I'm just curious)... Juli...

Everything's done in Macromedia Dreamweaver MX and Adobe Photoshop 7.0. With a bit of hand-coding. I use Photoshop Elements 2, because I'm a cheap bastard who won't pony up the $300 for an educational copy of Photoshop CS. :P (I do have Dreamweaver MX 2004, though.) I did, however, succeed in getti...

Is Funi's DBGT opening sequence completely changed (like DBZ was)? Yep. And the commercial eyecatches, too. :? That part is kind of annoying, too, because the English return eyecatch is a split-second longer than the Japanese one, so at the very end, you can always hear a snippet of the English sou...

That's cool. So maybe there's more to these rumors about Sammy getting back with the rest of the band than just hot air. I know a lot of people like Diamond Dave as the front man better, but I think they're both good in their own ways. But then hey, I even liked Gary when he was around. O_O ...

Re: GT incidental tunes available anywhere?
Are the tunes used during the GT episodes available anywhere? Were they ever released on CD? A lot of them are just instrumental variations of Dan Dan Kokoro but I think they're all pretty well done, particularly the prologue, the one done to a marching beat, and the one played when Goku transforms...

Re: Van Hellsing movie
Van Hellsing (notice the "VAN") is about the demon-slayer (Vampire Hunter mainly), Van Hellsing , from all the Dracula related books. The Hellsing manga was just HEAVILY influenced by these books as well. Note that Alucard is a psycho-assed Vampire in the manga. Van Hellsing is supposed t...

Half-breeds (half-saiyans): 1% Half-Saiyans make up 1% of the planet? Then those constant attacks really have taken their toll on the overal population level. Actually, I think he meant that half-breeds ( such as half-Saiyans) made up 1% of the planet. Which means that there are some weird, twisted...

... I like our DB though. Except for the opening + ending the music's the same. It's also fairly unedited considering there was more nudity+gay jokes in it. Mmmm....nudity... DAMN Toriyama for drawing Kame-Senin in a teddy! Now I can't ever bring myself to wear women's lingerie again! It's a good t...

Re: Daizenshuu questions
Which Daizenshuu (other than 1 and 7) refer to the manga? I think 3 or 4 has "every single fight ever". Stuff like that. Any amount, large or small. Daizenshuu #2 is a "Story Guide" which gives the story of the manga, along with copious amounts of full-color manga pages (althoug...

Bardock and Trunks' story ARE a part of the manga but keep in mind that the trunks manga chapter is diffrent than the anime special, and Bardock was only in a flashback, so the stuff on planet meat, exct is diffrent. I'd just like to point out that Bardock didn't appear in the manga until after the...
