That was very entertaining. What great explinations of parts of the buisness that I've never heard described before, all of that stuff about acting before vocie acting and FUNimation's original approach to anime and how it evolved to a more Japanese-faithfull basis. Really gives us Dragon Ball fans ...

I made it into Game Stop yesterday and checked them both out. I thought the bonus discs were a cool idea. I was dissapointed the PS3 version had Dead Zone instead of episodes 1-7 on Blu-Ray. I know that FUNimation probably hasn't begun prepping the TV series for High def yet, but it would have been ...

Fuck season sets. FUNimation had the perect format going with the saga sets and they were charging just about as much as the DBZ seasons, $30. Time Traveler said that they are looking foreward to releasing the series in its entirety, but besides the un-licensed first saga, they already fucking did! ...

Oh haha, well I'd call that both a TOEi and Bebi mistake, but I don't count Bebi-possesed moves as the characters using them anyway. This has really reminded me of the Dragon Ball attack guide I was planning on writing over on the freewebs sight I made, like, 10 months ago. It was to be organized by...

http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/6816/005zu7.jpg Big Bang Attack - A favorite finishing technique very rarely used these days, Vegeta opts for differing attacks as of late, though Bebi makes certain to use it while possessing his body (albeit with the Final Flash stance). His fused counterpart, G...

While it is the same hand gesture, I didn't count it as a Masenko; Pan had no training from her Dad or Piccolo and she didn't call out "Masenko!" when blasting, hence I consider it a fully-powered energy blast. Trunks is next~ Aw man, we disagree there. Looking forward to trunks, good work!

I really like this, I'm all about techniques and I think the info and images you have provided are a great format. But dude, you should put Masenko in Pan's section. Check out the episode where Uub fights Babi, at one point Pan flies over and fires what is undeniably a Masenko blast at Vegeta-Bebi's...

The Bulma and Roshi costumes look good enough to me, Yamcha looks like an on-set photo of Park. Goku is a bit too modern, but I have a feeling that this outfit is at the beginning of the story while he will be in the orange and blue gi we saw his stunt double wearing for the majority. I like the hai...

Yeah, I was happy to see this, I opted not to get the DVD set to completely avoid the remastered/widescreed nonesense. I agree with Herms in that I don't so much like that SS4 Goku with an outer space backround has been on almost all of the covers. I'd like some pictures of the fights like the Z and DB ones.

Yeah! Which is a really cool idea to me. We only get to see it once, however, in the first Broly film which is of course "non-canon". I'm pretty sure it's also listed as one of his moves in the Daizenshuu. Here's a great screen shot of it, scroll down to the "top five stolen attacks&q...

I was very excited to read about this on the main page. I'm going to try to go into this as cold as possible, or at leas as spoiler-free as possible until the American release (however far away it might be). Of course, the key word is "try" and I can't wait for more developments.

My all time favorite attack is the Masenko . It adds to the obscurity of Gohan's character and I just think it's a really cool blast. It's interesting that it's exclusive to those who know Piccolo's style (Piccolo, Gohan, Future Trunks). I can't really pinpoint a favorite instance of it, but the big...

I enjyed the read. I have a different interpretation of the dub (most of the time), but everything else was dead-on. a lot of those points are why I've gone on "dry spells" with DBZ before after watching some repetative Frieza saga episodes or something. I had actually never heard the Drag...

Yeah, (depending on how much you have) it would be very difficult and take more time and money to get every single disc sealed. You can trust most anime fans to take care of their DVDs, there's usually no damage. But like I said, keep your eyes open at video stores, check for Dragon Ball DVDs every ...
