I don't understand those comments, there were only a couple of times in Z when Goku got really serious.

Namekians can fuse fusions, so I don't see why Gogeta and Gotenks wouldn't be able to fuse.

There are lots of fan made versions like this, like One Pace for One Piece, Naruto Kai, and there's one for Bleach but I forget what it's called. Dragon Ball also has multiple fan edits including one for the original series.

I don't want to derail this thread and turn it into a debate about Naruto, if you want examples of Naruto being naive and reckless, just google it, there's plenty of discussions about it out there.

I definitely see Goku's character traits in Luffy, but I wouldn't say One Piece is Dragon Ball's spiritual successor because Dragon Ball is a fighting manga/anime, and One Piece, while it has plenty of action and fight scenes, is much more focused on the story and world building.

There will probably be something announced on Goku day, but I doubt it's going to be a new anime. I think they'll make a new one eventually, but my gut is telling me we're not going to see it soon. Hopefully I'm wrong though, would love to see a big budget remake of the entire Dragon Ball story, and...

If they do a remake I hope it's seasonal with a big budget so it actually looks good, otherwise it would be pointless.

Kami was the original creator of Shenlon, so he gets special treatment. It wasn't said, but it seems very obvious.

There's a possibility they could make an anime to promote the game, or that it has animated cut scenes, but don't get your hopes up. I would love a Sand Land anime, though, or even better, a Toriyama anthology series where they animate all of his one shots.
