It's not an anime, it's a game, Bandai Namco posted the trailer and they make games not anime. They're using the same "project" name place holder they used with Kakarot. I imagine it will be an RPG, but we'll have to wait for gameplay footage to find out.

I don't think they have a prejudice against dark skin colors, otherwise Goku and Uub wouldn't have become darker over time, and Uub wouldn't exist.

Goten and Trunks were still small so they would have to retcon the story and it would confuse people, I don't think they will do that.

If the manga suddenly skips ahead and ignores the Granolah ending with Freeza that would be really jarring, I doubt they'll do that. What if Freeza wished to be the strongest, then killed Monaito so no one else could use those Dragon Balls? I hope not. They would have noticed the dragon being summoned, so I doubt that's it.

The fight with Gas has gone on long enough, I hope he's not somehow back in action, and we've seen enough of Freeza, really hoping he's not that next protagonist, he's been in 3 arcs already. I wouldn't mind Freeza appearing or being involved, but I really hope he's not the next villian they face.

I love that they gave Piccolo so much of the spotlight, he's always been one of my favorite characters and I've wanted him to become relevant again for a long time; I just hope they keep him relevant and on the same level as Goku and Vegeta.
