Admittedly I would be lying if I said I didn't like the initial look of the images. They look fine on their own.

What I can't get over are the crushed blacks and white contrast that have been boosted far too much. Goku Black and Piccolo's gi being the worst offenders with Whis not too far behind.

I actually thought he voiced Tagoma before I found out it was Micah Solusod. They have an eerily same voice and tone.

Yet again, it was not Funimation but Toei who added the Z to the logo for international releases.

The Ginyu Force were introduced in 1990, right? Turboranger would have been ending that year and Fiveman would have also been starting.

As for any direct inspiration, I don't think there really was any. Just the basic idea seems to be as far as what Toriyama used.

If I remember correctly, Toriyama has stated that he doesn't own a computer, much less an internet connection.
