I just wish that with the new forms Goku and Freeza had, it would have resulted in more unique techniques and abilities.

I mean, we're not sure sure if these forms get new abilities in the movie at all and compared to the other avaliable forms of the characters, they are pretty unique.

Here's a breakdown from what was shown in the video tho:
-Goku's special attacks are rhythm based, to charge up your Kamehameha you follow the rhythm prompts that appear on screen which will grant you a real big Kamehameh at a faster charge than GodKu's, his rush is the same way albeit with more prompts which when fully completed will grant you a bonus Kamehameha at the end. They look pretty cool and along with the form's new animations they make him an unique character I think. Also, like GodKu he can revert to base and powerup at any time. I don't think his other special was shown.

-Golden Freeza's Death Beam is a barrage instead of a snipping attack and his rush his a flurry of kicks followed by a big blast after a teleport. Like the Super Saiyans once he goes out of Zenkai Power ( ) he will revert back to normal, so you can't just go ham with his attacks. Like Goku his other special wasn't shown unless I missed something.

I don't know, they seem pretty unique to me, in the case of Goku they really can't do much new, his normal form has Kaioken and Genki Dama, Super Saiyan has the teleport antics and God has Dragon Fist, for what they've already done with the other forms, I feel like they managed to make Blueper Saiyan stand on its own.
Golden Freeza could've gotten a different rush but It's not that bad, if he does have a third special that could be his game-changer so, we'll see.

o.O I don't remember seeing SSJSS Goku confirmed for it before that video. I mean I assumed he was coming since we got Golden Freeza, but I don't recall seeing a scan or anything beforehand.

Probably not. I think it may make it to handheld consoles, but that will be as far as it will go.

Why not both in the same vein of J-Stars? Even a PS3 release would sufice since they're working with PS3 hardware for the arcade cabinet. Imo, the biggest reason I think Bamco hasn't ported this over yet is due to the whole update thing, you could say "WELL BUT DLC" but Namco has never done character related DLC in a Dragon Ball game before (besides Xenoverse, but Zenkai came way first) so perhaps they were afraid people wouldn't catch on. My last bet is that it releases when it reaches either 42 or 50 characters, if by then it remains an arcade exclusive, we can probably give up.

That would totally be enough for me! I have a Vita and most of the more Japan-flavored games I have are games exclusively for the Vita. A home console release would be cool, too, but a DBZ game like this on Vita would also be pretty amazing!

Super takes place right after Buu and it seems like they're going to rewrite the last 2 movies' stories into it so he MIGHT use the form at some point before getting his god powers.
