Webfoot might make a Legacy of Goku 4?

I stumbled across this thread on Webfoot's Facebook page where they mention potentially making LOG4 (or other games, depending on what people want) with funding from Kickstarter. How do you guys feel about this? Personally, I'd want them to remake LOG1 in the style of LOG2 & Buu's Fury, instead of LOG4.

There's no way this will get anywhere past the planning stages/concept art. I doubt Bamco will approve it.

Hmm. I really liked the LOG games, but the Dragon Ball franchise is too big at this point for me to be all that interested in one that only covers small portions of the series at a time.

I would totally be down for a Legacy of Goku remake series, though preferably I'd want one to start over from the beginning with DB. If we had to just have an advanced remake of Legacy of Goku though (or something with the same Saiyan/Freeza arc storyline), then I'd be fine with that too.

I doubt anything would come of it, but if it looked promising, this could well be the first thing I'd try to join in on kickstarting.

I would to see a remake of the series akin to the Pokemon remakes, but with little goodies (like movie storylines as secret bonus content or more playable characters).

A 3DS remake would be really cool. However Namco Bandai would have to agree to it first.

That would be awesome. I would love starting them with DB and go trough the other LOG titles with storyline.
Pitty that I am not Nintendo guy anymore and also, this won't probably happen.

Reading through that Facebook thread, it seems that what they're proposing is a fan game, not a game officially licensed by Bandai Namco. Was never huge on these games, but I'd love for them to see this through, fan project or official.

Yeah it kinda looks like they are gonna "compete" with Hyper DBZ as a fan game for mac,PC, android ect... then try for an official release. I would love it if they found a way to implement kaio-ken if they re-hash the whole series.

I'm surprise people want it to be on the mobile phones. Personally I can't stand mobile games. I remember when no one took mobile games seriously back in the early-mid 2000's. Now they make millions of money. I like to play real games and not casual stuff that have been on flash websites for 20 years.

I feel like a lot of people are requesting a mobile game because they don't want to have to go purchase a console. But yeah, I agree, I don't know how much depth is possible with just a touch screen. I would prefer a handheld game or even a PC game.

A Frieza to Raditz remake of the first legacy game would be cool.
Especially if it was deeply faithful to the anime, and covered a lot of filler.

I'd support it on Kickstarter, but I'd probably get mighty numbered nined again.

They put out a game based on The Legend of Korra awhile back that I grabbed for $5 last year. I never got around to playing it, but I was surprised to see their name on it! I also thought they were long gone. Seems most of what they put out anymore are very low key mobile games with what I assume is their mascot frog.

I'd be all for it. They should just do one big game that covers all of Z and fits most of the movies in through alterations. They'd have to find some way to expand on the gameplay to keep it interesting, and they'd have to make most of the Z Fighters playable. It'd be cool if they did new remixes of the Team Faucloner score too. Either that or just do a sequel to Buu's Fury that covers some of Super or GT.

I have such fond memories of the series, I'd love to play a new game in that style.

What it's based on I dunno, but as long as it plays well like BF did by the end, I think it'll be worth it.
