Extreme Butoden has two variations of the SSJ God debut, but the main issue is that both pretty much follow Battle of Gods when SSJ God actually appears. One of them, the villain story, starts as a story about the villains being resurrected and powered up similarly to Ultimate Gohan by the Dragonballs after Z. Eventually they're almost winning, when Beerus arrives asking about the SSJ God and just gets rid of all of them, and then we an abridged Battle of Gods.

The other one, in the Adventure mode, starts with a similar premise, all villains returning due to a Dragonball wish from Pillaf, but takes place post-GT. Goku goes on a quest to collect the Black Star Dragonballs, which have been brought back, in order seal Omega Shenlong's evil energy and stop the resurrected villains. Anyway, eventually it comes down to Beerus and Whis arriving asking about the SSJ God in the middle of the final battle with Omega Shenlong, and then Whis randomly awakens the SSJ God within Goku. Then he defeats Omega Shenlong, who had gathered all minus energy into a super attack, while barely noticing it, and then Beerus and Whis ask for a place with good food.

Like I mentioned above, in the Adventure Mode one SSJ God Goku destroys Omega Shenlong Super Minus Energy Ball, which was made by gathering all Minus Energy of the Shadow Dragons and the one spreading around the world/galaxy to destroy it. He doesn't even seem to realize what he had just done too, with Omega Shenlong disappearing afterwards since all Minus energy had vanished.
