With no disrespect I'm tired of Broly and a lot of the others. Xenoverse gives Mira and Towa a whole series to themselves.

I'm worried everone with just push for this game to have a roster of the obvious when they can pull some really interesting things here, like they did with Ginyu and Nappa

It's a 2d fighting game built from the ground up and uses a graphical style that causes animation to take forever to make.

Ignoring the roster for now. What about those news regarding the story mode? You can learn skills and win xp while "advancing on the map"! This is sounds amazing! I didn't expect the story mode to be anything like this. It reminds me of Budokai 3 where you flew around the World. I'm hyped!

We also got a release date, from February 2018 to 1st of February 2018.

I don't care about Nappa and Ginyu, but the way they are handling them (Nappa using Saibaman and Ginyu using the other Ginyu Force members) convinces me they are good picks.
Hopefully I can still get Beerus, Hit and SSR Black + Zamasu as assist for the antagonists/villains side.
A world without Dragon Ball is just meh.

Guilty Gear Xrd uses the same engine. It had 15 characters at launch and currently has only 25.

Yeah, same here. At least Broly and Janemba have interesting fighting styles, but characters like Zangya, Bojack, Bardock, Slug, Omega Shenron, Cooler, etc. don't offer much new to the game. Most of them has no other skill, then just shooting default ki projectiles.

Yeah, based on this I expect FighterZ to have 21-24 characters (a number divisible by 3 because of the 3v3 aspect). 18 revealed so far (including Android 21), and if this pattern of 2 character reveals per month keeps up, that's 24 in January, right before release. Any more than that will be a pleasant surprise.

Good thing is from the Gameinformer articles/videos we know that Bamco intend to keep this game alive for a while, which means we will see more characters, after they add that remaining 6 until the release.

Not a fan of that art, I'm also really tired of box arts that are entirely focused on Goku.

Nothing special, but also not bad. Much better then the Budokai one with the cheap gradient photoshop shading, at least.

The cover is Super Saiyan 2 while Goku just uses the regular form and SSJ3 in-game? Unless I missed something, that's weird :lol:
