"Final Bout" OST Hidden Track?

Postby VegettoEX » Sun May 27, 2012 2:17 pm

So I happened upon the (incredibly poorly-written) Wikipedia article on Final Bout, and specifically the section on its soundtrack, which notes:

Wikipedia wrote:The Future Trunks theme arrangement "Hikari no Willpower" was featured as a hidden bonus track.

Umm... what? I've had this soundtrack for years upon years, and never encountered a hidden track. I'm familiar with all types of hidden tracks and how to gain access to them -- everything from the standard silence-at-the-end-of-the-last-track all the way up through pregap hidden tracks.

I scoured my house to find an actual CD player (not a computer, not a game system, but a standard CD player... a boombox, to be exact!) to test things out. Just to be sure, I first popped in my copy of Less Than Jake's Losing Streak, which has a pregap hidden track. The player was able to access this, so I knew if I couldn't find one on the Final Bout soundtrack, it wasn't that the player couldn't do it.

No pregap track. No hidden material between tracks. No hidden material after the last track. No extra blank tracks. Nothing.

Of course, it's just Wikipedia... so I dunno. Anyone able to shed any light on this? Total bullshit tossed in, perhaps from someone downloading a copy of the soundtrack that maybe someone included a game rip of "Hikari no Willpower" a bonus within?

It's not on my copy either, so I went into the page's edit history and found that the entire music section (as well as a large portion of the rest of the article) was written by this guy. I asked on his talk page if he had any source for the track being on the soundtrack just now. I kinda doubt it because none of the other tracks taken from older DB games are on the soundtrack, but who knows?
