Dragonball Vinyls?
One day I was curious to see if they released any 12" of DB/DBZ music, checked Discogs, and there was barely anything. You guys are the collective experts on pretty much everything DBZ, so I was wondering if there are common releases to get a hold of? Or if you guys had a DB vinyl collection to show? Thanks.

The opening theme to the original series was released in 1986 by Columbia (Cat. No.: CK-764), with I'll Give You a Romantic Night on the back. This was pretty much the very first piece of music from the show released.

From the site:
Dragon Ball – Ongakushū (Music Collection)
"Re-issue of a vinyl release (CX-7272, 21 April 1986) under the budget-priced ANIMEX 1200 series (thus the ¥1200 price tag); these tracks (and many more) featured on disc two of the Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball Z Daizenshuu five-disc set"
But fat chance finding it!

Funny thing these were released on 7" records as late as '89. I wonder if the Japanese media market mimicked the U.S.'s in the way that CDs surged past LPs and 45s in the early nineties.
Re: Dragonball Vinyls?
I have a collection of French 7 "and the Spanish 12" album.

I've got them all, sealed. The 12" ones (2) were very expensive and hard to find. I spent five years waiting/searching to find them. When they were listed as new in Mint condition, I nearly died of a heart attack. They cost $700 roughly.Videlphia76ers wrote:One day I was curious to see if they released any 12" of DB/DBZ music, checked Discogs, and there was barely anything. Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People
