I recently managed to watch Battle of Gods for the first time, so this is perfect timing. :)
The film got me thinking how far Dragon Ball has come, and how something made by a random lazy guy (Mr Toriyama) can become so huge and succesful and, frankly, legendary. But then I thought - that random lazy guy ... isn't he actually Dragon Ball personified? How many characters in the series look weak on the outside, but pack incredible power? That's just like him! He may seem lazy and forgetful on the outside, but he has this incredible unmatched skill within him. Just like Beerus!

Fascinating podcast, guys! I think it's quite interesting that we got so many pieces of information out of, what is honestly, a very simplistic film. It's exciting to think what they'd come up with if they actually made good use of it all, instead of treating them as simply throwaway tidbits.

And yes, Kaio does have the halo in BOG.

'Who's that Character?!'...so it was Lucifier, huh. I have to agree that that movie doesn't get a whole lot of attention. I've actually only seen it once. Was half asleep and I didn't like it, so I returned it to the video store the next day (or DVD store, rather) As for this week, um, since I heard Freeza's name, I'm tempted to say that it's something from early in the Namek arc; which I haven't actually seen and I'm ashamed to admit that I still have a hard time identifying a lot of the Japanese voices outside of the main cast. :| But then again, Freeza gets mentioned on so many occasions throughout the series that it doesn't necessarily have to be from that part of the series, so...here's my reasoning:

- The audio clip is quite high quality, so it must be from Dragon Box: Za Mooovies.
- Freeza gets mentioned in the following DBZ Movies: #3, #4, #5, #8, and #12. You know what? I'd actually have to check if he was mentioned in DBZ Movie 6. It'd be easy to assume so, but I don't actually remember him being referenced at any point in that film.
- There's a slight echo to the voice clip, so is it...

...from the start of DBZ Movie 5 as Sauzer is watching Bardock's death and Planet Vegeta's destruction?

I haven't finished the podcast yet but I made it up to point where you guys was talking about the legendary super saiyan and it kinda got me thinking. If there really was a legendary Super Saiyan (Super Saiyan God) then wouldn't that mean that Broly wasn't really Legendary and maybe his legend took credit for the original legendary Saiyan? I mean, What made Broly so Legendary? What? he was born with a high power level? he wasn't born into royalty like Vegeta. He didn't do anything like save planets or people(Besides his Father) he destroyed them. I know this might be a silly thought but I'm just throwing it out there :P

Maybe when Vegeta kept referring to Broly as the legendary super saiyan he was mistaken. I mean, it's not like it was written down in their history books that Broly is the legendary super saiyan. maybe he took the glory from the God. Because Vegeta said he had always heard stories but never thought it existed. Maybe he just seen Broly and thought he was the legend... I dunno I'm weird. :P

Just curious... we're approaching Episode 355, a.k.a. Episode "291 + 64," a.k.a. "GT-number-equivalent episodes over." Is the intro music gonna change to Kai's or something, or is GT's music sticking around until the GT Review of Awesomeness wraps up in a few thou-

Regarding this week's Who's That Character? I'm pretty sure it's Hayami Shou's work as Thouser because of how clear the audio is. Damn Mike, you gotta move away from the movies. :P

Damn, I thought I knew the "Who's That Character?" this time. I was like, "Psh, Shou Hayami as Zarbon, of course!". Then I come on here and, nope, looks like everyone agrees it's Thousar. Same voice actor, saying a line that one could assume Zarbon might also say...very tricksy!

So the idea of strength checkers for the relevant movies was briefly mentioned, and I was just wondering, what are the possibilities of a Daizenshuu/guidebook strength checker? It's both something that's relatively difficult for fans to check, and seems to be what most people are interested in outside the manga for strength debates. Plus, most of the information was already translated on Kanzentai.

I know that Herms had help with his Strength Checker, so I'd be willing to help out with such a project, if I can that is (I don't have any of the guidebooks myself).
