Episode #0358! VegettoEX and Kirbopher chat up "Dragon Ball Kai" like it is 2009 all over again. Bin Shimada will be taking over as Babidi while Shino Kakinuma will take over as Videl. On the music side of things, Norihito Sumitomo (from the "Battle of Gods" soundtrack) joins the group as the new composer. What else is on the horizon for the Majin Buu arc of "Dragon Ball Kai" and what else should we prepare for internationally?

I've missed so many episodes. The Who's that Character? segment is always so much fun, I wish there was a way to do it more often. My pick for this week is Genda Tesshou as General White (not Silver!)...then again, it might also be Colonel Silver as voiced by Ginga Banjou. My battle power is weak!

I don't think Yanami has the energy to speak Babidi's lines like he used to.

Oh lord, screennames with random numbers in them. That is why I dislike mine. Those thirteen-year-old brains come up with some crazy stuff!

I can confirm that none of the Genosect in the Japanese version of last year's Pocket Monsters movie were played by Ms. Minaguchi. Morohoshi Sumire (Water Genosect), Watanabe Akeno (Ice Genosect), Furushima Kiyotaka (Flame Genosect), Satou Kensuke (Thunder Genosect), and Yamadera Kou'ichi (Red Genosect) played the Bug-Type pokemon in that movie; Minaguchi Yuuko didn't appear in the Japanese version at all.

The only work she's done in Pocket Monsters is the role of Rose in the Side Story episode "Do Your Best! Look Ahead Rocket-Dan?", which was later dubbed into English as the Pokemon Chronicles episode "We're No Angels."

Also, I think I mis-spoke when I said Killa was in the 28th tournament. Meant the 25th, obviously.

Haha I had no idea there was a stigma with numbers being on the name, well until this podcast and several of the earlier ones hating on it.

I came up with Kakarot88 just so I could post on ScrewAttack one evening with no real thought going into it.
'88 isn't even a significant number to me and I thought the scanlations of "Kakarot" rather than Viz's "Kakarrot" was the correct spelling, because of Viz's choice of Vegerot instead of Vegetto

...so I went with that. After using Kakarot88 on ScrewAttack, I just figured I'd use it here for consistency purposes.

Edit:spelling Kakarot with 1 "r" or dropping the "to" isn't per se wrong, I just see it far less on most official sources.

Seeing as Minaguchi was in the English dub of the Genesect movie, perhaps Funimation should consider getting her for Pan during the 28th Tenkaichi Budokai? Sure, they'd have to get her down to Texas from New York for a few days, but still.
