The title from episode 13 (Goku aiming to go beyond SSG) implies they're indeed covering the ground between the movies, instead of bringing in Freeza right off the bat.
I wonder if that means he's going after Whis right away (after a timeskip?), trying something by himself, or if just part of the episode would be about him establishing a goal.

I think a Jaco episode/mini-arc is confirmed if that's the case, they didn't really explain his origins in ROF but the gap between the BOG and ROF saga would be perfect, it's the only thing I'd look forward to.

Yeah that is good news, it would have been a missed opportunity if they didn't. They set up the BoG arc very well, for the most part, so I am intrigued to see how they'll set up the "F" arc. I wonder if they will show SSGSS/Golden Freeza beforehand and show how Goku,Vegeta & Freeza obtained it (It'd make the whole Base fight even more pointless then it was in the movie so maybe they'll scrap it? and it will take more shine off of Vegeta's big moment) or keep it a secret like the movie did. But if the artwork for the recent CD single is any indication then it looks like the former might happen, which I hope is the case I want me some Freeza training

Well, Episode #11 should be the one good episode to look forward to. It looks like Yamamuro will storyboard the first episode of the Golden Freeza arc, too. That'll probably look painful.

Anyway, this is a good decision.
Jump right away to ROF wouldn't make sense, since one of Super 2 main goals is to flesh out things better. The other is to make money.
First time Toei makes a good decision about Super. Congratulations.

*Vaguely wonders how long into the fight ssjg Gokû's gonna stick around for until it wears off and goes back to regular ssj.* I'd guess somewhere in "The Universe Will Collapse?!" episode; meaning I probably have at least 2 episodes worth of screencapping and/or new avatar material of Gokû's ssjg form. More than I thought I was gonna get.

In F, Gokû made it sound like they had to work at it to make blueper saiyan functional; so I can't imagine he hits it in "Go Surpass"--maybe this is the episode where he asks Whis to train him and then he and Vegeta go back with Beerus and Whis to later create blueper?

While I am not opposed to them showing how SSGSS was first achieved, I am however against them showing Vegeta becoming the original SSG purely because I think the form will not suit him one bit just like how I don't think SS3 or 4 suited Vegeta well. I hope they sweep it under the rug like the movie did we don't really need to see Vegeta becoming SSG.

What I think and hope happens is episode 13-15ish is BoG down time where Goku is thinking about how to surpass or use the new god power effectively he goes to Kai but he turns him away saying Goku is now beyond anything King Kai could teach and he is better of seeking Whis, back on Beerus' unamed planet Beerus and Whis are confronted by Champa and his bitch and then we get the set up for eventual U6 arc that the Manga as been setting up. Then we see Goku attempting to reach Whis but can't sense him and so he is trying to think of the best way he goes to Bulma and she suggests the whole food message thing and Goku and Bulma set up everything up and then all of a sudden Vegeta shows up and demands to know what Goku is up too and then them two start to banter a bit and then Whis shows up and Goku begs him to help and Vegeta is all like "no way bro" and demands he go with Goku and Whis but Goku mentions the fact that Vegeta is too far behind and then Vegeta demands they do the ritual before they head off with Whis and Goku is like "what if the doesn't work brah" (in the sense of Vegeta absorbing it) but Vegeta still insists and Whis comments on their bickering but then agree's to train them and then timeskip happens, so the audience will be 50/50 on whether Vegeta did the SSG ritual or not. And then we'll kick off the Freeza arc from there!

Well, let's not forget Dragon Ball Heroes, even if Vegeta does not appear as a God in the series (fulfilling your wish), Heroes will do the job. So, uh... Try to get used to the idea of him getting the Super Saiyan God form. And I really liked your theory/text. Considering how things are going, including the missing of Tarble, maybe they will skip Vegeta's ritual again in a similar way you just said.

I really disagree. Although I don't think SS3 suits anyone, and thus by extension wouldn't suit Vegeta, I thought SS4 looked way cooler on Vegeta than on Goku. I would love to see streamlined pink Vegeta (maybe they will go for a slightly redder palette on him, like they did for SS4 Vegeta).

Moreover, I really want to see how he convinces Goku (and to some extent Gohan and Videl, Trunks clearly worships the ground Vegeta walks on, and Goten would follow in suit with his friend) to do the ritual on him. Goku likes to play it cool and *says* he will share but he is still super competitive inside, so having him actually keep his promise would be interesting to see. Even if it is just in flashback later for the "suspense" of Blueper, I think it would be an interesting moment to see -- it will either be fun or serious, but either way, entertaining.

That'd definitely be a fun scene to see (and I think I want to see SSJG Vegeta partially because it's a very un-Vegeta form, he might get all embarrassed about it XD), though I don't feel like Goku would have a problem letting Vegeta get god-power. He wants to compete with and outdo Vegeta (and everyone else) for sure, but he'd definitely be up for giving Vegeta a fair chance to keep up with him because then it actually is a competition. Just like his initial dissatisfaction with his god power, I think he'd feel his being undisputed #1 would be cheapened if nobody else could ever possibly hope to do it because he wouldn't let them become an SSJG.

I know you're not saying that he would actually stop them, but you know what I mean, I don't think it would ever occur to him to do anything other than instantly and happily let Vegeta to the ritual too--he was perfectly happy letting Vegeta and Trunks go in the RoSaT first, because he was confident in his ability to surpass them later, with the same training, so essentially on a level playing field, which is the most fun.
