I just don't get why Toriyama thinks that it is good to just have Goku and Vegeta doing all the fighting. It is so easy to give other character power ups it is just crazy that he does not do it.

This one is really interesting to me considering Dragon Ball is now making more money for Bandai than One Piece. I guess despite One Piece as an anime making more money Dragon Ball sells merch a lot better.
Also Precure seems to be on a pretty noticeable downward trajectory, I don't follow that series but is there any particular reason for this? Kinda crazy how domestically the only one to be up over last year in any significant way is Dragon Ball.

DB is still in the very first year of new DB weekly show and not long after first new piece of content since the 90s in general. Even classic properties like DB will need some time to get back in full shape/grind/speed. Most of the world doesn't even have Super on screens yet

There's little doubt tho that Toei will be reassured producing new content is the direction they need to go, it brings the fruits

Well One Piece and Dragon Ball are pretty neck and neck outside of Japan, but in Japan One Piece as a sizable lead over Dragon Ball, but despite that Dragon Ball is making more money for Bandai than One Piece. All I'm saying is that it is interesting that over all as far as Toei goes One Piece is above Dragon Ball in revenue, while with Bandai it's the other way around and I'm curious as to why that is.

It will be interesting to see if Dragon Ball significantly over takes One Piece for licensing outside of Japan after Super is airing in more countries.

Who knows but if they are travelling in space then I can't imagine they'd want to break out of it if they cant breathe in space. Lol but who knows, knowing them they probably hid away on purpose. We'll know for sure in a few days.
