I think it would be more effective if he acted exactly like our Goku. It would be a different type of menace than what the series is used to.

I hope its either Bardock or GT's Goku design when he was an adult again, outfit and all. Actually I hope they use Goku's outfit in Toyotaro's AF. I always liked that outfit and it looks very futuristic. That outfit could be a great input by Toyotaro. Hope he has a tail too.

I'm hoping for that too. It'd make for some unique circumstances/interactions.

BD3 that was supposed to be released 02 June was delayed one month to 02 July,
Back then a user, I think it was Rachel, wondered if it was for Toei to have time to fix any bad shots.

Champa arc already ended some weeks ago, so apparently there's nothing that could delay its initial release next week.

The thing is, the animations/art is looking great in these last episodes. To the point of a joke fight like Goku vs Monaka being better than some of the tournament fights.
They are also using a lot of Key Animators to do these last episodes as quickly as possible. It could be just for them to start working in the next arc as early as possible, but it could also be to fix any bad shots in this last arc for the BD release.

The set will contain episodes 25-36.
It will still have some ROF arc episodes, but since they didn't fix episode 24 (Base Goku vs Freeza), I'm not conviced they will fix episode 25 (SSB Goku vs Golden Freeza). None of those are as bad as episode 5 and we still have ROF Movie. But what about Champa arc?! How high are the chances of they fix anything?

The fact that they delayed this BD release seems more fishy now.

Episode 33-35 and half of 39 are the ugliest of the Champa arc hopefully they'll fix those but I'm not holding my breath.

Yes. There are still intolerable shots but most of it was fixed.
If Toei intended to fix episode 5 since the beginning or it was duo the huge polemic behind it, we don't know.

Isn't that what Majin Buu and more or less Perfect Cell was?

I think it'd be different than Buu though; I think there'd be more a psychological effect on the main characters since he'd look/sound like Gokû, and not that Gokû himself isn't immature, but Buu's even more immature than Gokû is imo. I think Cell was probably the closest to an anti-Gokû (the Cell games scream "A thing that an evil Gokû would probably set up for fun."), but Cell was also really intelligent and spoke with a finesse that Gokû doesn't have. And also I could be mis-remembering, but after Cell became perfect I think he lost his drive to become any stronger since he thought it was impossible for anyone to top him. I think an evil Gokû would still have the drive to continually try to get stronger.
