For those collecting and wanting a, typically, cheaper option, the next issue of V-Jump is now live on CD Japan.

I slept on it; I've decided to pre-order because Uni 6 stuff and the Champa hype and if it's something really cool I don't want them to sell out and then I end up hunting across Amazon Japan 3 days after it comes out and having to spend like $10 more than I would've on the CDJapan preorder. After this though I am going to curb my VJump purchases simply because there's just not much re-readability with a magazine like there is with an actual book. I have a whole bunch of print Viz SJ magazines that just sit around in a closet as evidence of that; but the manga I buy actually has a decent chance of being re-read in the future.

I think Champa and Beerus are connected beyond just being Gods of Destruction - the poster that shows them standing back to back also shows the rectangular gold earrings aligned perfectly.

Since they are skipping the F arc in the manga I wonder if the Kabitokai defusion is something that happens during or right after the F arc in the anime.

V-Jump traditionally releases every month on the 21st (unless it falls on a Sunday, or a holiday or whatever). If tradition holds, we should have early release details from ShonenGamez by the end of the week though.

It would be great if we jumped to Universe 6, maybe we could see some of the new characters Mr.Toriyama promised. Although Champa and Girl Whis were disappointing, I have great expectations for some great character designs.

I got really disappointed with Champa/Whis Waifu character designs too. And if Universe 6 turns out to be alternate version from Universe 7 (Fat Goku, Female Vegeta, etc..) will be a huge disappointment. We have to wait.

There's nothing to look forward about transformations anymore either, since now its just recolors. I hope Beerus/Champa don't have one. Its fresh for this series anyway.

Don't worry, the different Universes aren't alternate versions.

Super Saiya-jin was just a recolor as well, nothing new to note about this.

I am still too successfully? distracted by that incredible princess-carry that Vegeta pulled off with Gokû this past week to think much on Uni 6 Vegeta at the moment if there is one.

I feel awkward posting right after myself. Giving a heads up that we'll probably learn something this weekend because Yugioh spoilers from this month's VJump have started to appear, so Super manga spoilers shouldn't be that much behind.

Wonder if Toyotaro will be skipping Freeza's arc completely, or will just approach it differently? I kind of dig the cameos by Champa here and there, would be fun if he was fully ingratiated in the plot throughout.

Chapter stars with Goku vs. Vegeta in Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan in Beerus planet. So they completely skipped the ROF arc.
