Seeing how easily jiren is matching UI next episode. And seeing the recent 129 spoilers (along with freeza still being in the tournament), I’m guessing that mastered UI goku and jiren are both going to ring each other out, and freeza takes the win.

Who cares at this point, Anime Jiren is the biggest pile of trash in the history of anime, the more he gets buried the better.

Vegeta's participation in this episode was so pathetic that I can not even describe it.

Half an episode for such a shameful display? Ridiculous

I'd hate to be a Vegeta fan right about now.

Bollocks. They've had their fun for the last 6 episodes, even with his garbage transformation. It's Goku time now! 8)

He should have gone out on a high note in 126, but this has always been his role in the story. Why would you think this time would be any different? He's always functioned as a plot device to make Goku look better. Be thankful he didn't get the Hit treatment from 112.

Right. Because you were expecting BASE Vegeta to put up a good fight against Jiren?

I probably would've appreciated Vegeta getting eliminated early on by Frost via Mafuba Reverse. And why is Toei suddenly now on the guillotine?

Wait never mind, I guess Toriyama can do no wrong right?

They gave him an emotional send off showing his resolve and growth as a character.
This episode was them giving him love.

For once, Toei didn't screw things up and they still complain. Pathetic.

Why's that? What more was he gonna do? I only hate him still acting arrogant about himself having to beat Jiren, when all he has to do is just keep on surviving. It would have honestly made my day if Vegeta said all he has to do to beat Jiren, is survive him. Jiren says you can't win, and Vegeta says he doesn't have to knock off Jiren, Just survive him. So give him everything he's got. So then Vegeta's arrogance would more be about saying he can win by taking all his punishment. It's 3-1 if he could so he'd win that way. It's better than him acting like "Oh I can totally beat you up still. My current state is enough." It's just pure ignorance at this point. You can have said cocky/arrogance without him coming off as a dumbass.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Yeah if there’s any arc in Super where Vegeta got a lot of shine it’s this one. Vegeta fans should be more than pleased. I know i am.

Was anybody really expecting him to put up a fight at all? Even if he was back to full power with sparkles, he would have been eliminated quite easily by Jiren. The only thing that matters is UI.

I'm feeling fine about it. He did his best and lasted right up until the final 2 minutes. It's better than I was expecting.

Of course not. Why does he need to stay in base form throughout the fight? Energy has never been important in DBS, it's not hard to make him have any kind of rage boost at the end thinking of Bulma.

But all the flashbacks were useless at all
Kenneth La Torre wrote:OMFG. Vegeta fans can’t be pleased. It’s just better to ignore them.
Would you be satisfied if the last episode of a character you liked was so ridiculous?

Vegeta was eliminated in the middle of the episode, did absolutely nothing against Jiren and all the flashbacks were useless. No matter his participation in the tournament, I'm specifically talking about this episode and in that episode he was pathetic

What did Vegeta do in this episode?

Can we please stop these stupid fanboy wars between characters? It’s so damn childish.
Heroes come and go, but legends are forever.

Any, ANY Vegeta fan bitches, I'm done with that section of the fandom forever.

Most of the episodes this year have been about Vegeta and most of them were bad because they were trying to make Vegeta look good nonsensically. i don't blame them for that because that they did that with a ton of characters and yes, it was Toei. Now nothing is good because instead of having a good final fight between the main character and the main antagonist, we have at the most one episode if we are lucky.

Toei pandered to a part of the fandom that would never be satisfied as usual it cost them and i am willing to defend them on many things, Vegeta should have went out in 122. 17 and Gohan defeated by Destroyer Toppo and Freeza takes him out, then he refuses to help Goku leaving him on his own.

But you no what, its fine, its all fine. Because the show ends in 3 episodes and I honestly don't care anymore how they end it because it will still feel hollow. Lets just finish this.

Overall I'm satisfied with Vegeta's performance but he was annoying as hell. It's not like I expected him to do anything, it's the opposite actually. The elimination moment itself is fine but I believe it would've been better if it happened last week alongside 17. There was no need to drag this to almost a full episode with no real developments + repeated lines again and again.
It's not even about Vegeta, like how many times did that trash Jiren say "It's over"?

I hope Toei use the Genki Dama to gather all the possible asspulls and shit writing available in the whole world, as long as Goku trashes Trash and reduce him to his little bitch it doesn't matter anymore.

Please Hit, it's time to use your clone already!
