Yeah, I'm talking about characters getting beat up to the point their Gi's are torn and ripped? ~ I don't think I could recall Super having that at the moment?
But, they're more than capable of having it in there.
Only Monaka costume get ripped a little, and create havoc!
Trunks "uncanny damages" was bruised top.
Of course ripped costume add drama, but so far Super didn't have real fights to death (RoF was comical). No need for such tension.
Maybe in the future (literally!).
I learned english listening to songs. So I don't know anything about. The day you had to learn play piano by just listening .mp3, you'll understand.

In super we did have this moment. However for some reason these days they dont show nipples.

Of course! Battle damage in action shows are like Blood in wrestling, if you over do it, it loses its luster, but balance it and it's excellent and can add drama and tension.
I have borderline personality disorder, if my posts ever come off as aggressive or word vomit-y to you, please let me know.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.
Battle damage was always great in the old series. Really showed the progression of the fight. And I've always loved the way Toriyama drew the cracked armor, it was so realistic. If they're not gonna get bloody (since it's a Sunday morning anime now), at least tear their clothes and armor up and show some scratches/bruises.
My favorite variation of the, "cracked armor", progression of storytelling was when Gohan kicked Cell's crown in and the damage retained, presumably because Cell couldn't or didn't think to heal it in the heat of the moment.
I'd like to see more battle damage. I always found it a very appealing aesthetic which helped any battle seem more truly like a "Fight to the death" scenario.

Vegeta vs the z-fighters is one of the best examples, he goes from full armor and tail to just the chest piece hanging on, tears all over the body suit, his tails chopped off, his eye is damaged and his back is cut open. And it rules!
Yes, PLEASE! I'd really love it if we got a long battle like Z-Fighters VS Vegeta, Goku VS Frieza, etc. with battle damage. We all know how damaged Goku got during the Frieza fight.
Battled damaged clothes probably would take longer to draw than non I suspect so that could be a main reason of why Super as little maybe? It would have been cool sure to have more instances like how Goku looked on Namek vs Freeza, especially with his then new outfit.
Well, obviously. We don't need to have limbs flying extreme death scenes or anything, but the impact of a tough battle should be visible on the fighters.
I don't think we need something quite as heavy in a kids' show as...
...but somewhat below this level would probably be good.
Probably Kanzenshuu's biggest Bulla fangirl. Current avatar: DBU Bulla as Sailor Princess Sadala, based on Sailor Moon: Cosmic Dance
Dragon Ball Ultimate - 74 out of 150 chapters complete JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Action Blue - link Sailor Moon: Mindful of Love - link | Sailor Moon: Cosmic Dance - link

Super might be a kids show but DBZ was not. Doraemon is a kids show, there should be appropriate amount of gore in battle shonen anime.
Toyotarō: … I get the feeling I’ve just heard something amazing (laughs). Lord Beerus and Whis turn up in Dragon Ball Super, and have become an unsurpassable wall for Goku and the gang. What do the two of them mean to you?
Toriyama: Well… First off, right now I don’t have any plans for Goku and Vegeta to surpass Beerus and Whis.

Yes. It. Was. And there is no certain amount of gore that battle shonen should have.

It depends, I think there should be some blood if a character gets shot through their body like when Sorbet shot Goku or when Freeza was attacking Gohan.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
