Then again I haven't heard his professional work so maybe he's more versatile than I'm giving him credit for.
I feel the very fact it's LittleKuriboh will make it difficult to take his performance seriously even if he made a total shift from his TFS work. I'm really hoping this just doesn't happen.
Martin has done some pretty big work for voice over. Recently he was the Audio Descriptive Narrator for The Force Awakens and Rouge One. He's also voiced some characters in anime, albeit bit pieces.

I know. But if he were specifically to reprise a character he played in a parody for an official work I could never take it seriously.

Besides Lex Lang and Michael McConnohie, is there any other voice actor from the HG and Final Bout dub being in the Bang Zoom dub of Super?

Can't say for certain yet, but a friend and I are very close to finalizing an agreement to get this recorded. This may not happen before the premiere, and it'll be in standard definition, but I have a really good feeling about it.
Awesome... Even if there isn't video, its no problem!!! just good quality audio is enough, i bet someone can sync it correctly and post it.... For now, Don't know why but casting is great so far so i want to hear how this dub sounds at any cost lol!!!

Gohan is going to be played by Chris Hackney and Doug Erholtz will play Whis.
Great casting again, Chris did amazing job with stinger(OPM) and illumi(HxH) and his stinger sounds more like kyle's gohan... i think this take on gohan is going to be awesome!!! don't know much about guy who plays whis though!!!

Conveniently there happens to be a video with a bunch of characters voiced by Doug Erholtz:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwGUy6OQjts

Not in that video, but he also voices Asuma Sarutobi in Naruto/Naruto Shippuden and Ichimaru Gin in Bleach, if you've seen those.

I reached out to Bang Zoom! via their website, and asked them where this is airing, and they said they are only aware of it airing in Asia and India.

Strange they mentioned India, as it seems it won't be airing there.

Actually it won't be airing in India for now due to regional language dubbing issues (hindi, telugu and tamil)... they use scripts directly from english dub so they are taking their time to air DBS in India, since toonami india is a separate portal it won't affect toonami asia broadcast!!! it may take 5-6 months before they air it in India i think...

So if the BZ dub didn't get delayed back in July India would probably be getting it now then?

Most probebly yeah... When toonami was launched in india they promised that every programme will air with regional language dub so I think it means same to DBS too!!

The Twitter drama continues with Chris Rager. This time, however, it involves some French users responding to one of Rager's earlier Tweets insulting thr Bang Zoom dub. I don't know what they were saying, but the replies Rager sent them speaks volumes on the kind of person he is when it comes to criticism.

"I have been playing him for two decades. Fuck off."

https://twitter.com/ragercoaster/status ... 28068?s=09

"It will never be seen in America. So it doesn't matter to me what you think."

https://twitter.com/ragercoaster/status ... 28068?s=09

"Your insignificance in my life is astounding."

https://twitter.com/ragercoaster/status ... 11841?s=09

"I have no idea what you said... Something about balls... Probably about how yours are missing."

https://twitter.com/ragercoaster/status ... 11841?s=09

"Mr. Satan's lesson for the day: Do not piss off the French. After they insult you, you feel dirty and horny at the same time."

https://twitter.com/ragercoaster/status ... 11841?s=09

So not only can Rager not control himself online, he's associating the character he plays with said actions.

Rager seriously needs to chill the hell out. At the end of the day the Bang Zoom dub will be a niche product and, as others have said, it will most likely not get a physical release so he will get the last laugh anyway.

I made a simple reply to Rager's Tweet about the Bang Zoom dub never coming to America that it would probably winding up on YouTube and then...

"Enjoy your illegal bastardized version."

https://twitter.com/ragercoaster/status ... 1107859456

Then he blocked me. Oh no, my life will be so lackluster now without his crude commentary!

I think I lost some respect for him for doing that. Thankfully I don't care for Satan, so no harm there. I always preferred the late Daisuke Gori anyway.

Same, for having called him "unprofessional" and childish to act like that in public, with my pitful english skills, but with courtesy... https://twitter.com/supalinocelosu/stat ... 3198256129
I don't know for America, but in France, dubbing is a very closed medium, very difficult to access. For anime, it is difficult to be well broadcast,... And in a global way, the world is, currently, in a difficult era.
The cast of BangZoom's DBS has jobs via this series, PLUS the chance to interpret Goku, Vegeta, Satan,... I mean, why not?! Who is it to spit on that? On jobs? On chances? On Asian/Indian/UK/Canada/Netherlands public, who does not give a fuck to the Funimation Dub/Cast/Him?!

HE'S NOT FIRED, HE'S NOT REPLACED! He does not live under any circumstances the situation of the Ocean Cast, back in the day. I do not understand his reactions... Alternative dubs are not new in English languages for Dragon Ball, au contraire, to the point that it is a trope and Dragon Ball the king of that: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DuelingDubs

(If Sir Rager read this) I'm not against or pro-anyone (i love Funi's Dub since Kai, i love your Satan/Hercule), but this is really unprofessional, disrespectful (towards Jamieson Price, Bang Zoom, and all the actors) and sad.
Whether good or bad this dub's gonna be, wait for the broadcast of their work before spitting on it (especially when it is an egocentric attack). A sneek-peak of 20sec is insufficient.

All my support for this dubbing.
(Member of Kanzenshuu, Sir Chris -I invented Mr Satan, It is certainly not a Japanese character- Rager, sorry for my bad english)
"Sorry for my bad english."
